YOU WERE WALKING alone in the forest in the pale moonlight, you loved the forest especially at night. It was absolutely breathtaking. The night was calm and quiet. The only thing that could be heard was the animals, and the movement of the water from the small rivers.
You sat down on a small rock in front of the river, you dipped your feet in the water. You closed your eyes taking deep breaths, relaxing into the night. As you kept your eyes closed you heard the sound of footsteps, you opened your eyes. Your ears perked up at the sound. The footsteps came closer.
The feeling of relief took over you once you realized it was just Neteyam. He approached you sitting down on a rock that was next to yours. "Hey y/n, what are you doing here alone?". He asked as he dipped his feet in the water. His voice was calm and soothing. "I was just taking a walk, I love the forest at night it's beautiful." You replied smiling while looking into his eyes. You couldn't help but get lost in them. Those gorgeous yellow eyes. You've liked Neteyam for a while now.
"Yeah, it is beautiful at night, the moonlight looks stunning." He replied as he tucked strands of hair behind your ear. Your cheeks went pink from the gesture. You looked up at the sky, looking at the stars as they shined brightly. Silence took over the both of you until Neteyam spoke up. "Y/n?". You turned your attention to him. "Yes Neteyam?". You asked in a gentle voice. "I really really like you y/n, like a lot, I always have and always will. I don't think you feel the same but I thought that it'd be better if I tell you." He replied with hope in his eyes. Your eyes went wide, not knowing what to say. You swallowed the lump in your throat before speaking. "I like you too Teyam, a lot as well. I always have." A smile made its way to his face, he felt so relaxed once he heard those words.
He pulled you in for kiss, which of course you kiss back. After a while you both pulled away and pressed your foreheads together. "I see you." Neteyam said smiling. "I see you too Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan." You replied.
