Grover was packing his bag while Adela came up to him. He looked up before she got to him. "Hey Adela." He said.

"Hey, I see you're packing also." She said, nodding to the bag. "Yeah, I told Percy I'd pack snacks." He replied, stuffing some in the bag.

"I can see that." She said, noticing the pile of snacks. "I stopped by Percy and Annabeth. I thought I'd catch up with you to and say goodbye." Adela said.

Grover smiled. "I appreciate that, Adela." She smiled back at him. "Of course, that's what friends are for. Make sure Percy and Annabeth don't kill each other of the quest." She said.

Grover let out a laugh. "I'll try my best."

"Remember that song I taught you?" She asked him and he nodded his head. "Good, that might come in handy. I highly doubt they'll get along most of the time. But by the end of it, I bet they'll be friends." Adela said.

"I hope so to. I don't think I can break up every disagreement they have." Grover said. Adela smiled. "Use the song. That's why I taught you it." She said.

"It should've been you who goes on this quest, not me. You'd be able to do more things than me." He said. Adela shook her head and walked up to him. "No, I shouldn't have."

She put her hand on his shoulder. "Don't doubt yourself, Grover. Percy chose you. He trusts you to be the right person to get the bolt back."

"You always know the right stuff to say." He said. She chuckled. "Sometimes. But I always say what needs to be said." Adela said.

"Thank you." He said.

Adela pulled him into a hug. "Of course. Take care of yourself. Take care of each other." She said, pulling away from him.

"I will. I'll see you in a few days." He said.

As Adela walked in she saw Luke talking with Chris. She noticed Chris looked at her and quickly looked back at Luke before hitting him stomach and then shut up.

Luke looked behind him to see her walking towards them. "Hey, Addie." He said, kissing her forehead.

Adela wrapped her arm around his waist. "What are you guys talking about?" She asked. "Training." Chris said and she nodded. "Yeah?" She said, keeping her eyes on Chris.

Chris quickly looked at Luke and then back at her. "We were going to train tomorrow after lunch." He said, his heartbeat grew faster with every word he spoke. "Well, you guys have fun. I have to go meet up with my sister."

Adela put her hand back at her side. "What? I thought we were going to hang out today?" Luke asked her. She looked at him. "I know but I haven't really had time to be with my sister in a while." She said.

"But I will talk to you later." She said, standing on her tippy toes and quickly kissing him before walking out of the cabin.

"Dude." She heard Luke say. "What?" Chris said back. Adela wanted to listen on their conversation but she didn't want to invade his privacy. She wasn't like that.

She wanted a healthy relationship built on trust but she was getting suspicious about Luke's behavior and lies. She hoped that it was nothing.
