The next morning at the jailhouse

Marco comes out with Shelly behind him.  She becomes pissed.  He sits down at the table reaching for Raven's hand. She moves them. 

"So what? She gone be around?"

"I promised to never hurt you, Raven.  I aint worried about that girl" he said "Look at me"

"We gone see," Raven said. "So what happened? "

"We got jammed.  You know why" He said

"Was it a lot? "

"pills nah.  But I can still do some time for it.  That weed shit is easy to get off of"

"You saying that like you'll be out tomorrow," She said frowning

"I'll be out.  Don't worry about me"

"Marco please don't say that shit," Raven said shaking her head.

"I'm straight on the book,  food all that.  Just need you to hold our place down.  I love you" He said holding out his hands. 

Raven grabs him as he rubs her hand. "I love you," she said starting to cry.

He whips her tears rubbing her face. "Look.  I'm here,  I'm alive.  I just won't be able to be there when you wake up. "

"Everything just happening so fast. It's too much"

"When I'm out we can go on a vacation.  Pick a spot" he said smiling and holding her chin

Shelly walks back out looking at Marco rub on Raven.  "No touching," She said coming up. 

Raven stood up "If we ain't kissing or fucking each other I don't think it's a problem," she said getting smart

"What I say goes. Unless you want to get put out"

"Bitch put me out.  I don't give a fuck" Raven said getting in her face

"Babe," Marco said

"Or you can get you can get your ass beat like the last time," Raven said

"Try me," Shelly said smiling

"Raven! " Marco said "Don't even think about it" seeing her fist ball up. 

Raven was about to hit her when Marco jumped up getting in between them.  "Go," he said as the male police officer came over putting Marco back in handcuffs "Give me a kiss," He said and she did just that walking out. 

Raven walks outside meeting Eve. "How is he? " Raven asked

"I know they gone give him time.  He was already on thin ice" Eve said

"I'm so pissed at them.  Then Marco acts like everything just going to be fine. "

Eve shakes her head while they go to the car. "Let's just hope it's not too much time.

They get in the car driving off.  "I'm thinking about buying a house and going into being a Realtor. 

"That's a smart move.  I think it'll be best if both of you don't together"

"Yeah, I'll talk to Naomi about it.  Right now we have to see what's going to happen with them first.  If they get bond or not." Raven said

They pulled up at the house and Sawwan's car.  They walk inside. 

"What they say? " Quan asked

"Well, Steven knows he's about to do time.  And Marco I guess acting like everything is going to be okay"

"They went be straight.  It's best if they do not stress while in there.  Just a man thing.  Y'all okay though? " Kam asked

"Everything just happening so fast around me.  I don't know" Raven said sitting down. 

Quan walks and sits next to her.  "Look, sis.  We are here as your brothers. You went straight. He ain't dead"

"He said the same thing," She said smiling

"I know he did.  And I wanted to repeat it so you know you can always go visit him" Quan said

"You're right."

"Give me a hug sis" He said holding his arms out. 

Raven hugged him.  "Love you guys," Raven said

Naomi comes from the back going into the kitchen.  Kam walked into the kitchen.

"Good afternoon," Kam said

She and Kam have been talking as friends for a month now.  He trying to show he can really be a gentleman at heart. 

"Hey"

"How are you feeling? Sleep good? " He asked

"Yes, I slept well for the first night.  But feeling a little bit down. "

"Let me take you to dinner?  Or lunch is fine.  It doesn't have to be a date" Kam said

Naomi looks at him smiling.  "But you would see it that way

"In my head yes.  But you don't have to.  Look I'm trying to be a gentleman to you.  And I want to ease your mind.  You've been in this house since you moved in.  Let me show you around. " Kam asked

"Okay now I'm getting the sweet you"

"Oh, so it's working? "  He said smiling

"Keep it up.  But yes I'll like to go out"

"As a date? "

Naomi points her finger at him.

"Okay my bad just as friends STILL", he said

Naomi laughs shaking her head.
