Third person's pov
The mehendi function was over and irika was standing in the balcony which connects to hallways.
"Having fun?!" Her mother-in-law came out of nowhere and asked, Irika looked at her confused.
"Having fun seducing my son?!" Her mother in law said
"I don't have to" Irika said
"My son will never do anything with a girl like you and your neck and clothes are telling who the seducer is" his mother said
"Why do you hate me so much?!" Irika asked
"I have already made it clear" his mother replied.
Satvik saw them talking and reached there.
"What's going on here?!" Satvik asked
"Oh beta I was telling Irika how beautiful she looks today and she was replying rudely" his mother said and he looked at Irika.
Irika turned and left for her room.
"Look she doesn't respect me and left just like that" His mother said
"Mom I have made it clear do not always point every Little step of hers, please" Satvik said
"Let it be she has manipulated you" his mother said
"Ma i am not a kind to get manipulated and if she is doing it then you are doing the same if you don't like her just do not interact with her" Satvik said and left.
He entered the room and saw her sitting on the couch looking out of the window.
"Irika" he called and she stayed silent.
He walked towards her and looked at her she immediately wiped her tears.
"What happened?!" Satvik asked.
"Nothing" irika replied and got up from couch walking away.
He held her wrist and pulled her closed to her Making her back hit his chest.
"Stop ignoring me you know i hate it" he commanded.
He sat on couch and pulled her on his lap.
"What happened tell me" Satvik asked
"Am I seducing you"Irika asked
"What ... No" Satvik replied and irika just placed her head on his shoulder.
"Mom said that?!" Satvik asked and irika nodded.
"Now i Am telling you Irika whenever you see her around just ignore her existence because she is just stubborn, i will talk about it to her too" Satvik said
"Let it be, everyone is happy do not say anything till Shivangi's wedding " Irika said and satvik nodded.
He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and they stayed like that.
The door opened revealing ansh and Irika hurriedly stood up from Satvik's lap.
Satvik turned around to look at ansh.
"Have manners, you should knock before entering" Satvik said
"Oh i forgot you were married" Ansh said and Satvik nodded.
"I was here to inform that all the cousins are going to Lake nearby , we were wondering if you both wanna join" Ansh asked and satvik looked at Irika.
"I am tired" irika said to Satvik.
"Come on Irika you won't come here again". Ansh said
"Bhabhi" Satvik said gaining ansh's attention.
"Irika bhabhi for you" satvik added
"Chill bro i ain't taking your wife" Ansh replied.
"You want to go?!" Satvik asked and Irika shook her head as in no as she was tired from what he did to her in morning
