soonyoung's cooks made dinner, which was rather exquisite, unlike anything your cooks had made.
"today was so much fun! i can't wait to spend this whole weekend with you guys!" junhui smiles
"yeah, this weekend is going to be fun! i'm glad that we're able to have our alone time like this." jeonghan agreed with junhui
"yeah, sometimes it's exhausting to be with the girls all the time, not that it's annoying it's just some ask me to do one thing, and then some others ask for another-"
"did they ask you to have your shirt off at dinner?" jihoon looks at him
mingyu covers his chest "no, it's just hot." he pouts
everyone laughs at his comment and continues to eat. you had never officially eaten with the host club so it was nice to be with them. of course, you guys spent your lunch together but there was never a time where you all sat down and had a meal, until now.
you sat down next to jeonghan and jisoo of course. you wanted to sit with wonwoo but junhui had already sat beside him. it was a surprise to the hosts how you and the twins would talk every day and never be apart. maybe it's cause you have known them for a longer time but then again, you feel close to all the boys an equal amount of the twins.
"what do you think about the trip so far yuri? are you enjoying it?" jeonghan turned his head to look at you with a smile
"it's been great so far! the girls are so nice and it feels nice to know that it's just us on the island and some guards of course but it's nice! the rock was nice to climb."
"i really thought you were going to jump off of it!" junhui exclaims, a bit mad
"maybe one day i will!"
"no you won't." wonwoo says not looking at you "it's too high above ground for you to be jumping off that thing. soonyoung can we get it removed?"
"no!" you exclaim slamming your hand on the table "you're not getting rid of that rock! i won't jump off of it ok?"
"ok i won't! don't worry yuri it'll stay there for you!" soonyoung gives you a thumbs
"if you jump off it one day, tell me so i can do it with you." jeonghan whispers in your ear
as expected, after dinner you hung out with the twins in their room, soonyoung and jihoon hung out together on the beach, junhui and wonwoo were talking in wonwoo's room, mingyu was working out in the villa's gym, seokmin was asleep peacefully. the twin's room was the loudest as you all were laughing loudly
"i'm glad you're here wonwoo!" junhui told his best friend as they started watching a movie together
"me too," he says giving him a slight smile
"what's wrong jeon? why the 'me too' and not 'yeah well soonyoung's parents did business with my parents so this and this blah blah blah'." junhui mocked which made wonwoo chuckle "are you sad that you made yuri mad about removing that rock and now she won't talk to you and has been weirdly attached to jeonghan and jisoo, well mostly jeonghan lately?"
he nodded his head "i want her to be safe and not be hurt by that dumb rock."
"it's not a dumb rock you know. she's taken a liking to it," the boys turned their heads to see jeonghan in their doorway "and i guess she and i have been weirdly hanging out more often," he smirked
"what do you want?" junhui crossed his arm
"she wanted you to play a game with us but she won't be thrilled with what i heard."
"leave us alone jeonghan," junhui said getting mad at jeonghan for eavesdropping
"your words, not mine." jeonghan closed the door walked away from the room, and went to his room
"where's yuri?" he asked as he sat on his bed
"she went to look for mingyu. i told her that he was probably working out."
you had found him working out in the villa's gym. you debated whether to go in or not. he was shirtless and sweaty, he was running on the treadmill at a fast pace. it was almost midnight yet he was working out.
you open the door and start sauntering towards him. you tap his shoulder and he looks back at you
"oh yuri," he turned off the treadmill and you took off his headphones which were now sitting on his neck
"what are you doing here? it's midnight."
"i could ask you the same question,"
as the two of you talked, wonwoo passes by the gym to get a drink for junhui, not noticing mingyu and you at first. he saw how the both of you exchanged laughs with each other and the way you both at each other while talking. he wanted that, he wanted to talk to you comfortably and not let his shyness get the best of him. he wanted to keep a conversation going with you like mingyu and jeonghan did so easily. he wanted to make you laugh with whatever dumb joke he told, and he wanted you to smile with him as nothing else mattered. he wanted to be with you, to hold your hand as mingyu did, give you presents every day like seokmin did, make you laugh as the twins do, make you blush as junhui did, be your best friend like soonyoung did, to help you with anything like jihoon did. the only thing he could do was be there for you whenever you needed him, but you had other people too.
if only he knew how much you cared about him and how much you loved him. how much you longed to be in his arms and assure him that he doesn't have to live with the fear of his father. how to help him with his shyness and that you're here for him. that if he were with you, you would want him to feel nothing but happiness
