Summer Camp (Raura)

Chapter 2:

Ross' Pov

So yesterday the cast received the news about the camping trip and I'm so excited, I am so good at surviving in the wilderness, except our wilderness will be nicer, with AC, and a clean lake, and a grill, and electricity and stuff, but still! I'm excited so much! right now Heath and Kevin handed out the packing list and told us some stuff we have to bring which most of it was obvious and then there were a few empty spots to add other things...

"Ok, everyone, please take a seat and we will go over the plans! So tomorrow all of you will meet here, be here at 7:00am, we will have some breakfast stuff and then the bus will be here to take you all at 7:30, but come early" Kevin said. Then Heath spoke up:

"Also, here is your packing list, we recommend you bring this stuff:
-bug spray
-water
-extra snacks
-some board games or sport stuff
-sunglasses
-camp chair
-and sunscreen!

Also bring lots of
-shorts and tank tops
-a hoodie and sweat pants (it gets cold at night)
-some swim wear, at least two bathing suits/swim trunks
-sunglasses
-beach towel
-blanket and pillow if you get cold
-flashlight
-water bottle
And anything else you think you may want.... Does anyone have questions?"

"Um ya, who is all going on this trip?" Laura asked

"Just the four of you, Ross, Laura, Calum, and Raini but we have a schedule and sometimes an instructor or advisor will be around to assist and help with activities. Also there will be a chef sometimes to cook for dinner but only sometimes, and we will give you guys food. We will stock the fridge every week..." Kevin added

"Ok sounds good! I'm going to get packing and rest! See you guys tomorrow!!!!" Raini said

"Yea bye I need some coffee" Calum added

Then Laura and I were left sitting at the conference table alone

"So, have any plans today Laur?" I asked her

"Um, I just have a few last minute things I need to pack, when Vanessa is done with shooting she's going to pick me up and we are going to go shopping so I can get snacks"

"Well I could take you, so you don't have to wait for her, plus I can see what you getting...and I do love cookies ;)" I told her

"Ok, that sounds cool, let me text her.." then Laura pulled out the dinosaur phone she has.. man she needs a new phone!

"Laura" I said as we walked out of the building to my car.

"Ya Ross?"

"You need a new phone, I bet that one barely works!"

"Well, occasionally the calling dosen't work but otherwise it is a great phone."

"Ok, sure it is" I said sarcastically, then we got in my car, buckled up and turned on the radio

========== at Target=========

"Ok, let's get Oreos, I love the lemon ones!" I said "Ok, and we should get chocolate too! and chips! and Pringles, and goldfish, and pop tarts and s'mores stuff!" I added

"Sounds great Ross! lets just buy the whole store

"Ok! I will Laurie" I said back to her in a teasing tone "As long as you are paying!" I added.

"I was joking... And I need a few new clothing items so I'm going to try some on, you keep shopping around and I will text you when I am done." Laura said

"Are you sure you don't need my assistance on clothes to buy?" I asked her while smirking.

"No, I think I am just fine Ross"

"Ok, I will see you soon then" and we left each other and as I walked through the store I had a really great idea...

I'm going to get Laura a new phone, so I looked around and bought her an iPhone 5c because she always admired the colors an didn't like the boring gold, and silver shades of the others and then I picked out the yellow one for her and paid. Then I went down the head phone aisle and picked out some yellow ear buds and checked out... just in a few moments Laura sent me a text thar she checked out with the food and her clothes and told me to meet her at the Starbucks so I hid the new iPhone in my coat pocket and saw her waiting in line to get a drink.

(Yellow is Ross' fav color...hehee)

"Hey Laura! how was shopping?" I asked casually.

"It was good, did you find anything?" she asked

"Um nnope I found nothing at all! Yum lets get a drink" I said quickly. Then we received our drinks and began to walk to the car and loaded everything we bought in the trunk. Man way to play it cool Ross I thought.

"Today was fun! I am so excited about tomorrow!!!"

"Yea! me to!" l told her smiling cause I have the best plan and present!

Then I drove and reached her house/drive way

"Well I will see you bright and early tomorrow Ross"

"Yea, do you need help with the bags?" I asked her like a true gentleman.

"No I got it but thanks" she said smiling then she gathered her bags and ran off inside...

Tomorrow is going to be a fun day! At least I hope so!
