Summer Camp (Raura)

Chapter 3:

Laura's Pov

So today is the big day! Ross, Calum, Raini, and I are all going camping and I'm super pumped! I woke up extra early this morning, changed into my jean shorts and a red tshirt and doubled checked I had everything in my bags. Then, I got in the car and I get to spend a few minutes with my mom because I do feel bad for leaving so long and I didn't want to leave my car at set, so my mom offered to drive me and I gladly excepted. Anyways my mom started talking about being safe and don't do anything stupid like play truth or dare and jump in like like Rocky on "Shake it up" so I promised her to stay out of trouble. Then she started questioning me:

"Hun, do you have sunscreen?"

"Yes mom"

"How about bug spray?"

"Yep, I have that mom"

"How about a first aid kit?"

"Yeeeeees" I said tiredly

"IPad?"

"YYep, always! how else would I tweet!" I said joking around

"How about all the chargers and some extra batteries?"

"Of course, mom I'm fine!"

"How about your phone?"

"Yep but it may not work out in the woods.."

"Well if I can't reach you I will call someone else, like Raini." My mom said

"Yea, or you could call Ross cause he is going to..." but I said that really fast and my mom always teases me about Raura so then I added on "or Calum to... Again, also going... heheehee"

"Well i'll miss you sweetie, have fun, love you, call us when you get there"

"Thanks mom love you!"
then I waved goodbye, grabbed my bags from the trunk and entered the building to see Raini and Calum, I guess we all decided to come early since it was 6:45am and we are supposed to be here at seven... As they say, "the early bird catches the worm". Anyways I dropped my bag, leaving it by others and we headed over to the breakfast table just across the room which was filled with muffins and donuts! Yum!! Also there were coffees from Starbucks (don't own) and I grabbed one, then sat on the couch by the door waiting for Ross to show up.

As Calum, Raini, and I all sat on the couch in the Lobby my nerves grew as the clock approached seven because Kevin and Heath are here, in a meeting but at seven they are coming to say goodbye and go over last minute details....
And if Ross doesn't get here, he won't be able to come!

Luckily, Ross came running and panting threw the door so I got up and grabbed him a bottle of water... it's the least I could and after he drank I spoke up:

"Your late Lynch!" I said to him

"Are you sure Marano?"

"Well obviously! clocks don't lie!"

"Yea, they don't! And my phone clock says 7:00 on the dot" he said inching towards my face and I could feel his breathe. Suddenly I lost track of what was happening because I got lost in his gorgeous eyes... (a few moments later)

"Hey Laur, don't yell at me, the only reason I was "late" was because I bought you a present..." He said

"Oh? What'd you get me?" I asked bowing my head because I felt bad.... until I heard the words...

"Well, I just thought you may want some go-gurt but if not I can give it to somebody else" he said sweetly then I jumped up and took the box

"No! thank you!! I love you!" Everyone gave me a weird look while Ross was smiling and smirking so I tried to save the moment! "Yes! I love gogurt, it is my favorite food!" I said... the Kevin spoke up.

"Ok kids! your bus is on the way, remember to be safe and have fun. When you arrive at the cabins you will see the schedule, to determine room mates a completion will be held... have fun and call us and video chat!" Kevin said, then he walked out with us to a mini van. We all loaded our bags in the trunk and I had trouble lifting mine so Ross helped me put it In the trunk... what a gentile man... the. We all piled in the "bus" (it was just a large van) and Raini and Calum were in the middle row while Ross and I sat In the furthest back seat.

Once we were all settled I got comfy and began to nap because I need energy for when we arrive at camp and plus the camp is about six hours away.

My nap lasted about an hour and then I woke up and noticed Ross was leaning on me as we both fell asleep. Luckily, he was waking up to.

"Hey Ross, I hope I didn't wake you up" I said whispering because Raini and Calum were sound asleep.

"No, I was just starting to wake up" he said

"Kk, cool... so we still have a while till camp whatcha wanna do?" I asked

"How about just chill and chat"

"Ok, are you excited for camp Ross?"

"Yea, are you?"

"Of course I couldn't stop telling my family about all last night, speaking Of I need to call them. Let me make a quick call and then I will be available" then I searched for my phone but couldn't find it...

"Ross, do you know where my phone is? I can't find it!" I said freaking out

Ross Pov

"It'll be ok here use mine for now and after I will help you look for it." I told her handing her my phone and no, I didn't lose her phone just so I could her the one I bought.. I'm waiting for a special moment to do that

(Laura on the phone w/ Family) (speaker phone)

"Hey mom..." Laura said worriedly her eyes tearing

"Hey sweetie! What's up?"

"Nothing, um well just in the van on the way to camp so I just wanted to call now and tell you I miss you already because reception there might stink"

"Oh honey, I love you... are you ok, is it something about Ross..." but then Laura cut her mom off... hmmmm very suspicious

"No no, nothing with Ross, henis still the greatest friend... but um well my phone, can't find it, it's missing! "

"Laura calm down!" Ellen (her mom) said! "it is going to be fine, you will find it and if not I will get you a new one. its probably just in one if your bags....
Listen, I got to go, ttyl" then the line went dead so I stepped in to be a supportive friend.

"Laur, it's going to be ok" I said in a soft comforting tone while rubbing her back slightly

"Thanks Ross!" she said giving me a hug and for a while we stayed in that position.

"No prob! that's what I'm here for, her lets listen to some music with my ear buds" I told her

"Ok, sounds good!" she said and we both were slouching on one another jammin out until the time came when we reached the camp sight and it was breath taking... Like something I have never seen before....
