Dave POV "Have you talked to Ari" King asked me as we sat at a restaurant called Taste Of Texas waiting for our food to come out
"I talked to her earlier before they came and got me. I want to be there for her but I know we need this time apart. I fucked upp and I let this bitches get in the way" I said as I drunk my water
"Man you a dumb ass frfr" Domi said causing me to look at him sideways
"Nigga shut yo ass up" I said. I toned everyone out as my mind drifted off to Ari, wondering what is she doing, have she ate.
"All jokes aside, are you going to be okay" I heard Domi ask me as I shrugged my shoulders, not really knowing.
"I honestly feel like I'm not. But I have to be for my family because I know it's rough on Ari and then once the kids find out, if they already haven't somebody gotta be strong" I said pushing my food back a little bit even hungry anymore
"Eat. Take a bite or something" King said as he put his fork down, looking at me.
"I'm not in the mood" I said looking down reaching for my drink but King took it before I could grab it.
"I didn't ask if you were in the mood, I said eat your food" King said a little loud, some people started to stare
"Yeah, you better listen to your big brother!" Jay said making us all laugh
"Aye man would y'all shut the fuck up, learn when to be serious and stop playing all the time" King said as shook his head. I was about to say something but I decided not too.
"On a serious note, I would have never thought that the Brewster's would be getting a divorce, yall was like Jay-Z & Beyoncé, President Obama and Michelle" Domi said while looking at me, and I just nodded my head because I knew it was true. A lot of people looked up to us, and I let everyone down. Most of all I let me family down
"I'm about to go home" I said as I was about to order me a Lyft but king snatched my phone from me
"I'll take you home. And once again David Lawrence Brewster eat your food" King said looking me dead in my eyes. I'm not scared of my brother but I knew he wasn't playing so I just ate my food in silence. Once we were done, Domi & Jay invited us to the club but we declined the offer. As King drove towards my house all I could do was think about Ariana.
"If you need me don't hesitate to call.... You know what I'm spending the night. Come on" King said getting out of his car me making me follow suit.
I walked towards my room and got in the shower, setting out I put some boxers on and then climb into the bed, about 6 minutes later King came in the room with a pillow and cover as he laid across the end of the bed.
"You know I got you right" King said while bring comfortable
"Yes I know and thank you" I said while looking at the ceiling
"Try to get some sleep man. Foreal" King said while he tucked hisself under the covers, making me chuckle
"Thank you man" I said as I soon started to relax some, I grabbed my phone and sent Ari and good night text and told her I loved her. I put my phone done and closed my eyes hoping to get some kind of sleep.
