I am now 6 months pregnant. I have been showing pretty decently for about the last month.

It is time for my next doctor's appointment. Unfortunately, because I've been so busy with New York and this plan, I hadn't been able to attend as many doctor's appointments as I should. So I missed my last ultrasound. This would be my first one in several months. With this particular scan, we should be able to find out our baby's gender.

I explained this to Casey and Josie earlier today while talking to them. The two of them decided they were going to throw me a gender reveal party. So, while Hunter and I got ready for our appointment, the two of them got to work on all of the plans.

Hunter and I drove to our appointment. On the way there, we talked about how excited we were to find out the baby's gender.

I asked Hunter, "What are we going to do if it's a girl?"

Since I know we had no plan to actually end the curse. Our plan was to end the main danger, which was Addison. But no one could figure out a way to stop the curse. There would still be a threat from other vampires if my baby was a girl. And the secret ever got out.

Hunter told me, "Don't worry. We will cross that bridge when we come to it. I'll figure out something to keep our baby safe no matter what."

I absolutely trusted him and believed him. So I put the worry to the back of my mind.

We held hands tightly, and we walked into the doctor's office. I had been waiting for this day for months, and we were finally going to find out the gender of our baby.

The nurse greeted us with warmth and walked us into the ultrasound room. She explained that she would be using a small probe to create images of the baby on the screen.

We watched intently as the nurse moved the probe over my stomach. After a few moments, she stopped and smiled.

"Well, I have some good news for you," she said. "You're having a girl!"

Our faces lit up with excitement. Even though danger came along with a daughter. We were still both very happy.

The nurse continued to take pictures of the baby, and we watched in amazement as our little one moved and kicked on the screen.

When the ultrasound was over, the nurse gave us a few pictures to take home. She also told us that the baby looked healthy.

We left the doctor's office feeling overjoyed. Yet we were also a little nervous because we knew we had to figure out a way to keep her safe now.

We went to a baby store and bought a pink sleeper and blanket. We thought this would be great for Casey and Josie's gender reveal. And since the two of us already knew the gender we would actually just be surprising all of them. We also stopped off at a cake store and had them quickly make us a cake with pink frosting in the middle.

On the way home, we stopped in the park and sat on a bench together. We talked about what we could possibly do to keep our daughter safe. We ended up discussing a possible move to New York City. Living together with sage, michael, and Paul. We thought the best step would be getting out of this town. Our plan wasn't set yet. We decided we would have more discussion about it later.

We were so excited for the arrival of our baby girl. We both knew that our lives were going to change forever.

We arrived home and everyone was there. Including Rick. Casey and Josie had decorated the whole house for the gender reveal.

The party was held in our living room. It was decorated in pink and blue. When it was time to reveal the gender, everyone sat around us, and we placed the cake on the coffee table. We cut into the cake, and everyone saw that the icing was pink. Everyone cheered for us. There were so many hugs going around at that moment. The whole room lit up with excitement.

Our gender reveal party was a special moment that they would cherish forever.
