Secrets

We decided to keep it a secret from our members. We wanted to tell them eventually but for now, we were enjoying the time together. I spent multiple nights with him. It all felt so natural.

We laid in bed, his hand in my hair, playing with it as I slowly hummed, tracing his other hand that was on my waist. "I have never felt like this before." He giggled.

"Like what?" I looked up and smiled.

"You make my heart flutter." He kissed my forehead.

I began to think. "I wonder of our fans would like this."

"I'm sure Stay and MXP will learn to love this."

"I saw some comments on the dispatch post and some people weren't so happy that you chose me." I sulked a bit.

"And? I'm very happy that I chose you." He kissed me. "Let's go." He pulled me up.

"Where are we going?"

"I'm taking you out. Somewhere where dispatch won't see us." He smiled.

We got dressed and into the car. He took me to his favorite spot for a picnic. It was dark outside and slightly cold as he threw his jacket over me. "Look at you." I laughed. "So romantic."

"Oh yeah? You think so?" He smirked.

"Absolutely." I smiled.

We continued our night, talking and eating small snacks. Occasionally we laid on the grass and counted the stars together until we heard someone shout. "Hyung?" I instantly recognized the voice as I sat up. "Y/n?"

"Oh no." I whispered. Taehyun came running up to me.

"Oh my god." He stopped midway. "Are you with Chan Hyung?"

"Hi Tae." I turned around giving him an awkward smile.

"You are!" He screamed as I stood up.

"Don't say anything!" I begged.

"Why not? We all know you two like each other."

"Well this time we are officially together." And so the secret was out.

"Really?" He screamed. "We all knew it was coming." He laughed.

"We just don't want the members treating us weirdly due to our fans not knowing." I mentioned.

"Oh I won't tell." He smiled. "Anyways, I should get going. I was on my way home, I saw your car." He mentioned to Chan.

"No worries. Do you need a ride home?" Chan offered.

"No, thank you. I don't want to interrupt your date."

"It's okay. We've been here for hours." I laughed. "Let Chan give you a ride home, it's cold out." We all walked back to the car. We drove Taehyun home.

"Oh Hyung, I almost forgot." He handed me a flash drive. "I've been working really hard on some solo songs. Would you mind giving them a listen?"

"I'll listen to them." I smiled, putting it in my pocket. As we drove off, I sat silently in the car. My eyes were heavy as I slowly drifted off into sleep.

"Y/n." I heard Chan call my name but I was too tired to hold my eyes open. "You're home."

"Hmm?" I stretched, falling back asleep. He giggled. He picked me up in his arms, carrying me inside. Laying me onto my bed and tucking me in.

"Y/n." He rubbed the top of my head. "You must have been tired, huh?" He laughed.

I could barely look at him. "Thank you for bringing me home." I smiled.

"No problem. I'll always bring you home, safely." He kissed the top of my forehead. "Sleep well. I'm going to head home." I heard him say before completely falling asleep.

When I woke up, my alarm began to blare as I rolled over. I had a message from Chan.

Chan: Stop by the studio today. I got something for you.

Me: So sweet. What is it?

Chan: It's a surprise hehe

Me: You and your surprises. I'll be by shortly, love

I quickly got dressed and rushed out the door. When I got to the studio, he was waiting for me with some flowers. "Happy birthday."

"How'd you know?" I smiled.

"Taehyun told me last night on the phone." He smiled. "You weren't going to tell me?"

"It's not that big of a deal." I laughed. "It's just my birthday."

"Exactly, it's your birthday and I'm taking you out tonight."

"Where to?" I laughed.

"It's a surprise." He giggled.

"You love those surprises, huh?" I ruffled his hair. "Let's go inside."

We made our way inside and went our separate ways to our members. "Hi guys." I said, hanging my coat up on the rack.

"Good morning, Hyung-ah." Gigi smiled as she sat down next to Jena.

"Good morning, Gigi." I smiled back to her and took a seat. "As we know, our first official performance is tomorrow. We will be performing every song on the album." I smiled. "So we have to work extra hard."

We all sat down and got to work when our manager walked in. "Studio today?" She asked.

"Yes, actually Taehyun needs to go." I looked over. "I listened to your solo songs, I like them. Let's go get those recorded."

Me and Taehyun walked to the studio as we took our places. A couple hours had passed and we were working extra hard. "I can not hit that note." He sighed.

"Lean forward and belt it out." He did as I said. "And now do it again while standing. There you go, you got this, one more take." The take was perfect.

"What about this next verse?" He flipped the page. "Should I shorten it?"

"I think it's perfect, you'll have to sing a bit faster to fit it in though." I mentioned.

"Actually, let's call it a day. I'll fix that tonight." He smiled and I nodded.
