Chapter XIX : The Big Bad Bully

"You don't have to continue the paper. Just please, Rana. Stop giving me headaches, you know your Mom will not like this attitude of yours if she's here." Mula sa plato kong napupuno ng pagkain ay inilipat ko kay Daddy ang tingin ko. He's looking at me with hopeful eyes.

"What happened Dad? Gaano ako katagal nawalan ng malay?" tanong ko na nagpakunot sa noo ng Daddy ko. Inabot niya ang baso ng tubig sa gilid at agad 'yong ininom.

"Andrei, the historian found you unconscious on the grand structure's restroom. He called me immediately and of course I went there. Ang sabi ng family Doctor natin ay mas'yado ka lang napagod, idagdag pa ang init ng panahon kaya paniguradong sumumpong ang migraine mo. You should've called me if you feel unwell." Muli kong inilapag sa mesa ang pares ng kubyertos na hawak ko. I'm so confused.

I stayed in Aenriah for almost a month. Hindi ako makapaniwalang isang buong araw lang ako nawala sa mundo ko. That means the days and weeks I spent with Sage and the others is only equivalent to one day.

Or what if everything is just a dream?

Like come on, magic? Empire?

Yes, it is definitely a dream. A very realistic dream because when I started eating, the moment I exceeded two or more spoonful of rice, I felt nauseous. I stood up and excuse myself from our breakfast. My anorexia is still here. That only means I'm really back in my reality.

Matapos ang naging umagahan namin ni Daddy ay nag asikaso na rin ako para pumasok. Sa muli kong pag apak ng campus ay kaagad akong nakaramdam ng kakaibang pakiramdam. Tila ba hindi ako sanay sa simple at modernong itsura ng campus, which is totally weird. Nalaman ko rin mula sa aking mga puppets na sila Nicole at Abi ang malaking balita patungkol sa ex kong si Trence.

"I've seen them together kaninang umaga. Nakaangkas pa si panget na Nelly sa motor ni Trence like as if naman maganda siya," Abi said while sipping on her mocha flavored frappe.

"Yeah, Nelly and Trence are acting like a happy long term couple. Ang sakit sa mata girl!" patutsa pa ni Nicole bago ilagay ang pulang matte lipstick sa kan'yang labi at pagkatapos ay pinatungan ito ng lip gloss. Kinuha ko ang iced coffee mula sa mesa na inorder ko kasabay nilang dalawa kanina. I sipped on it and smile with the familiar taste. I missed this!

"Omygod! They're here!" eksaherang sumisinghap na bulong ni Abi bago itinuro ng kan'yang mga mata ang pinto ng coffeeshop kung saan kami kasalukuyang nakatambay.

I saw Trence and Nelly entering the shop with their hands intertwined with each other. Bahagya pang tumatawa si Trence habang bahagyang nakayuko upang mas marinig ang ibinubulong ng humahagikgik na si Nelly. Sinundad ko lamang sila ng tingin hanggangsa dumapo sa direksyon ko ang tingin ni Nelly. I saw how her eyes widened in surprise before she whisper something on Trence. Nawala ang ngiti sa mukha nilang dalawa nang lingunin rin ni Trence ang gawi ko. Ngumiti ako at kumaway ng isang beses sa mga ito.

Anong tingin nila sa'kin? hindi marunong mag move on?

"That's scary, what are you planning girl?" mahihimigan ang tuwa sa boses ni Nicole nang tanungin ako nito. Ibinaling ko ang tingin rito bago ngumiti.

"Let them enjoy each other's company. Life is too big for me to focus on them," I said.

"Wow, did you just became a saint?" maarteng sagot ni Abi kaya naman nginisian ko ito.

Now that I had experienced being bullied, doesn't matter if it's a dream or not. I realized I should stop it. Maybe it is how the universe wanted me to stop tormenting weaklings. Maybe the universe set me up in a terrible dream just for me to change how the way I do things. That I don't really have to push a weakling to their limit just for them to learn standing up by themselves.
