JUNGKOOK POV

I piled the table with breakfast foods.

What I salvaged from the
spilled groceries and what the healer brought with him
created a full menu.

Eggs, bacon, pancakes, fried potatoes, toast, fruit and more.

"Wow, How many people are
you expecting here?"

Jimin limped into the kitchen, still looking worse for wear
but doing better than just a
while before.

"Isn't it just the four of us?"

Trenton chuckled and I didn't even try to hide my smile as
the cub tore into the kitchen.

"I smell food." Dal sat down
at the table and started shoveling it in as if he hadn't eaten in months.

"Dallllllll." And he did say it the way his son mentioned when
he was in trouble or some
thing like that.

"Where are your manners?"

He reached for his son's hand
but the cub growled at him
and he jerked it back.

"Honestly, I don't know
what's gotten into him."

"He's never been a big eater before."

"In fact...are those
scrambled eggs?"

I glanced at the mountain of everything on the boy's plate.

"Yeah, I know it's hard to tell under the sausage patties."

"I put cheese in the eggs."

"They're very good." Trenton
put in.

"What kind of cheese?"

"Smoked gouda." I told him.

"I cut it in chunks instead of grating it so it doesn't get
totally lost in the egg mixture."

"Glad you like it." He smiled
at Dal.

"I'm not sure the little guy is really tasting the individual flavors of anything right now."

"He's never eaten eggs..."

Jimin looked at him as if
he'd never seen him before.

"Or any cheese, except American."

"He ate Swiss yesterday and
who knows what else."

"He pretty much just grazed."

I forked some of the eggs
from the bowl onto my plate before they were gone.

"Good appetite."

Trenton nodded approvingly.

"I like to see a cub eat."

"Especially all these healthy home-cooked foods."

"I have some supplements I'll give you, Jimin, just to make sure he gets all the nutrients
he needs."

"How could he possibly be missing anything?"

Jimin hadn't served himself anything, so I filled his plate
with pancakes and bacon
and of course the
last of the eggs.

I didn't cook many things that were beyond the ordinary
but I took pride in this dish.

He accepted the fork I
tucked into his hand and absentmindedly scooped up some of the scrambleds.

"He probably has every
vitamin and mineral in
front of him right now."

He stuck the forkful into his mouth and moaned.
