JIMIN POV

I was on top of the world.

Dalsu was flourishing, my foot was feeling better than it had since I injured it and some
thing amazing was growing between Jungkook and me.

I still didn't understand the
whole thing from the wolf perspective but I loved him
and he loved me and that
was enough.

On top of all that, I finally
made the decision to
purchase the bar.

My banker hadn't been completely loving my finances
but a decent deposit went a
long way, It also took away
any safety net I had.

I didn't love that part.

I truly didn't.

It would all be worth it though.

I could feel it in my bones.

I pulled into my parking spot, ready to let Allen know the
news.

Maybe if I was lucky, he
would even cut the price of
the inventory down a little
bit with a full price offer.

I ran the numbers on the
local real estate and even at
full price I was getting a
good deal, so that is what I decided on.

I couldn't wait to go home
and share the news with
Jungkook.

Home.

What a nice feeling.

We hadn't officially "moved
in" together even though we
had been living at the same house already.

We decided to give it some
time with Dal still adjusting.

He had too much upheaval
to add more.

He'd be happy though.

I was sure of it.

He loved Jungkook.

I was superstitious, not
wanting to ruin things by
telling him about the offer.

He'd been so supportive
when I mentioned and showed him what I had been thinking about but somehow saying
the words before I had a
signed contract felt like I
was going to ruin things.

Walking into the bar, I was
glad to see a few more people than normal for an early shift.

I'd noticed that the more I worked this shift, the more people came.

There were probably a
thousand things that factored into that but I liked to think it was the little changes I'd been making, changes that most people might not even notice, like brightening the lighting.

Things that I thought would make it feel less dive-like.

Dive bars were great for nighttime fun but for a
lunch break? Not so much.

"Hey, Paul." I gave a wave as
I headed to the back where
I hoped Allen would be.

It was payroll day, the best
day to find him here.

He'd started coming in less
and less a long time ago.

Not too bad for employees.

Awful for growing your
business.

I knocked on the open door
to his office.

He sat leaning back, tapping
his chin with his pen.

Ugg, please don't let the
books not match.

He was awful when something
on the spreadsheet got
messed up. Bloody awful.
