Chapter 18

Lance patiently helped Angel through the process and taught him the lil guy, even though at first Lance wondered how a person doesn’t know even the basics of the basics but left it after seeing those pretty hands even he wouldn't like them hurt.

Lance finished with the cake while also teaching Angel here and there. 

“It'll be a while till it fully bakes, wanna sit down and talk?” Lance suggests going to one of the empty chairs, and Angel follows suit.

“So I noticed you don't know your way around the kitchen” 

Angel was a bit embarrassed for that he just lowered his head, Lance noticed that and said “Aww its okay. I can teach you, though I'm better at cooking than baking”

“Ohhhh how are you so good at cooking?”

Angel curiously inquired 

“Hmmm well it's because my mum loves it, and she dragged me in since i was young. i had no choice”

Angel couldn't help but chuckle at that imagine a tough grumpy looking Lance be dragged off by his mother and listen to whatever she says “Your mum sounds fun” 

Lance enjoyed Angel's smile. He found it to be very cute; he could hear Zuko groaning, wanting to lick Angel's face. He might be a wolf, but sometimes he acts like a dog Lance quietly thinks. They talked for quite a while until someone interrupted 

“Hey Lance and his little duckling, I'm just here to remind you that your cake is baked” Emma said cutely. Lance said thanks and got it while Angel tilted his head, questioning the duckling part

“Well it's because you kept following Lance as if he was momma duck and you were its child haha it was so funny and cute” one of the girls who was in Emma's group said

Angel got really shy at that, and he also couldn't deny that Lance was his only hope and mentor here he'd be lost or probably burn the kitchen had it not been for Lance taking charge.

Lance chuckled “now now he's new at this. I'm sure he'll be fine once he gets used to this” He kindly said

“Yeah I'll do my best and learn to make great cakes” Everyone just awed at Angel's newly found inspiration. Everyone was happy to get such a cute under classmate in their club. They were surely gonna dote on him since all of them there were a year older or so.

Everyone cheered Angel on as Lance bought a slice of cake to him “here it's done try it” Lance put the spoon to his mouth, Angel hesitated a bit considering he doesn't eat anything before inspecting it but he didn't think much and took a bite

He chewed slowly, and Lance looked at him, getting a bit nervous even though he didn't know why the hell he was getting nervous, the same with everyone else watching in anticipation 

Angel slowly chewed it and gulped it and softly muttered “its good” Everyone visibly relaxed their shoulders, which they didn't even realise were tense 

“Why was it so hard to watch?!!” Everyone thought at the same time if daddy luther and all the caretakers were here they'd be able to sympathise with them.

“Hahaha I'm glad you like it here. You can eat the rest” Lance gave him the plate and went off to give the rest of the cake to other teams, and they did the same.

Angel slowly ate the cake. He seemed to like it more, knowing that he and Lance made it together. It made the cake seem more delicious to our picky eater.

After Angel finished the cake, others also offered him more, but he only liked a few and didn't finish any of them, but for him, it was an improvement for him 

“Hey Angel, I hope you enjoyed today's session. Here's the club form. If you like it you can join.” Emma said, handing him the form 

“You don't have to come every day only on Wednesday and friday. Do we have baking sesh, and that's when I come” Lance said 

“Okay then, I'll join since you are here!” Angel accidentally blurts out 

Lance raised an eyebrow but said “Hahaha I'm glad you like me that much” Angel shyly blushed at that.

‘Well you like him just as much you grumpy ass’ Emma and the others secretly think of course they'll never dare to say it out loud.

Hey, you guys, sorry for the late release a lot, and I mean a lot of things have happened in my life.

Anyways I've been watching haikyuu these days AND ITS SO DAMN GOOD the suspense is everything i have to take a insta break after every episode its insane I really love haikyuu i hope the new movie gets released soon cant wait to watch in cinema (HOPEFULLY)

ANYWAYS next chapter will be intros cuz baby lets get this organised btw they'll be animated instead of real people feel free to not see the pictures if you scared you'll dislike them i personally turn off the Internet remember you are the readers you can imagine them however you like
