Dreams Can Come True

Chapter Nineteen.....

Katalina gave a half shrug as she tells her brother that there's an extremely high possibility that both Ksenia and Keane could both end up with twins, no matter how big they are from each other.

Kova cocked his head and said," Now wouldn't that just be a head spin for everyone if that actually does happen...
Two sets of twins!
I can just picture our dear old Dad running around the backyard chasing all them kids."

Katalina thought about it for a second, than bursted out laughing at the image that was playing in her head.

Her brother look's at her and said," Okay what's sooo funny?"

"Oh I was just picturing your image in my head,than I suddenly got this image of our father on a motorised lawn mower with this massive cart full of four tiny kids being pulled along behind it, and Maximous running along besides it as their proud protector."

"Now that I'd love to see, but I'm positive good old Maximous would more than likely try and climb in there with the kids," Kova said as he bursted out laughing.

"You and me both," Katalina said as she got up and started to head inside and grabbed herself a drink.

When she finished her drink, she placed the empty glass in the sink, than decided she'd go for a walk into town to fill the next few hours in before dinner.

As she was about to step out the front door, her brother asks her where she was off too, and she told him for a walk.

As she migrated into town, she had no idea where she was heading too, she just kept on walking until she found herself standing at the foot of the duck pond.

There were people everywhere, kid's running around flying kites, some playing ball with their dog and other's playing cricket with their families.

As she walked over to a free seat underneath the big Jacaranda tree and sat down.
She took a deep breath and thought about how her day was so far.

Katalina was in such deep thought, that she never noticed that someone had stopped next to her and asked her a question.

So clearing his throat, he asked her once again," So...you expecting someone?"

As she looked up, she found herself starring straight into those stunning gunmetal blue eyes of his.

"Drayce...h...how long have you been standing there for?"

"Long enough to see you were off with the fairies. Is everything okay?"

Katalina tilted her head and said," Huh?
Oh um, yeah everything is fine.
I was just thinking about life in general and about my twin sisters and their pregnancies."

Drayce's eyes widened as he jammed his hands in his pockets and said he didn't even realised she had sister's.
Than he asked how far along they are in their pregnancies, and  Katalina told him 5 months.

Drayce looked at Katalina and said," What, hang on, are you saying that they're both 5 months pregnant?"

Brushing a piece of hair out of eyes, Katalina smiled at Drayce and says," Yep, but I think there's like a two week difference between them."

"Wow that's pretty cool, don't you think...
Both of them get to experience there pregnancies together.
Congratulations to you and your family, you must be sooo excited about becoming an Auntie!"

Katalina smiled at him as she thanked him for his kind words.

They chatted some more, than Drayce suggested they go for a walk, than maybe stop in at the local cafe and grab a coffee.

Liking that idea, she agreed to join him, and off they went in their walk around the duck pond.

They spoke about everything and anything, and they even stopped to feed the duck's before making their way over to the local cafe.

Once inside, they grabbed themselves a coffee and went to sit down.

Picking up his mug, Drayce say's," I'm so glad you could join me in a coffee. It's been awhile since we last caught up."

As she stretched out her legs in front of her, Katalina smiled as she said," And I'm so glad you asked me to join you."

As he placed his coffee back down on the table, Drayce told her he couldn't think of anyone better than her to share a coffee with.

Katalina couldn't help but beamed at what Drayce just said to her.

Not long after they had finished their coffees, Katalina thanked Drayce for the chat and was just about to leave when Drayce suggested they'd catch a movie tomorrow, followed by dinner.

She thought about it for a second, than nodded her head and told him she accepts his invitation and she'll meet him tomorrow down at the cafe around midday.

Walking home, Katalina had her head in the clouds and couldn't help but think about Drayce and there date tomorrow.
And if the truth was to be told, she couldn't wait for the day to come to an end.

Once she got back home, she practically bounced up the stairs, quickly changed into her P.js and went back downstairs, grabbed herself a cold drink, her book and went sat down on the back patio.

Making herself comfortable, Katalina lazy back on the sofa bed, picked up her book and was about to get stuck into it, when Maximous came along and dropped his ball right in her lap.

"Oh you great big lug, can't you see I'm trying to read here?"

Maximous just sat there wagging his tail and waiting for her to throw the ball.

"Oh ok you win, just this once - here fetch!" she said as she threw the ball.

Maximous took off like lighting after the ball, caught it, brought it back and dropped it in her lap again.

Katalina looked at him and said," I told you that was it, now be a good boy and lay down."

But Maximous had other ideas of his own as he barked at her to throw the ball again.pp

" Shhh, don't you dare back chat me...lay down will you and be a good little doggie!"

Right at that particular time, Kova happened to have walked outside and just stood there watching, than say's," You better throw that damn ball for him before he starts throwing a hissy fit."

Katalina almost jumped ten foot in the air, as she practically yelled," Fucken Hell Kova, you frightened the shit outta me!!!"

He just laughed at her.....
