 "Well played"- Requested

I slid into the passenger seat of Oscar's car, a grin already plastered across my face, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement. Tonight was going to be epic. Laser tag with Oscar, Lando, and the rest of our friends was exactly the kind of adrenaline rush I needed to break free from the monotony of everyday life.

"Hey there," Oscar greeted with a smirk, his hazel eyes twinkling mischievously as he revved the engine. "Ready to dominate the battlefield?"

I rolled my eyes playfully. "Please, Piastri, we both know I'm going to wipe the floor with you out there."

He chuckled, his laughter infectious. "We'll see about that, won't we?"

As we made our way to the laser tag arena, the banter flowed effortlessly between us. It was one of the things I loved most about our friendship – the ability to tease each other relentlessly without any hard feelings. Oscar had this knack for making even the most mundane moments feel like an adventure.

"So, any strategies up your sleeve for tonight?" I asked, leaning back in my seat.

Oscar tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Well, I was thinking we could employ the classic 'divide and conquer' approach. You take one team, I'll take the other, and we'll meet in the middle for a showdown."

I nodded approvingly. "I like the way you think, Piastri. But don't underestimate my stealthy ninja skills. I might just surprise you."

He shot me a playful wink. "Oh, I'm counting on it."

Before long, we arrived at the venue, where Lando and the rest of our friends were already waiting for us. As soon as we stepped out of the car, the energy was palpable – a mix of excitement and friendly competition.

"About time you two showed up!" Lando exclaimed, clapping Oscar on the back before turning to me with a grin. "Ready to get your butt kicked?"

I shot him a mock glare. "You wish, Norris. I'll have you know I'm a laser tag prodigy."

As we split into teams, the boys versus the girls, I found myself standing shoulder to shoulder with Lando's girlfriend, Nora, and a few other girls from our group. On the opposite side, Oscar and Lando exchanged smirks, clearly relishing the challenge ahead.

"Alright, ladies, let's show these boys what we're made of," I declared, pumping my fist in the air.

Nora grinned, her eyes sparkling with determination. "You got it. They won't know what hit 'em."

As we strategized our game plan, I couldn't help but notice Oscar's gaze drifting towards me every now and then. It was the kind of look that made my heart flutter – a mix of admiration and amusement. But before I could dwell on it too long, Lando's voice cut through the air, dripping with sarcasm.

"Hey, Piastri, you're not slacking off on us now, are you?" Lando teased, nudging Oscar with his elbow. "Or are you too busy swooning over our competitor here?"

Oscar's cheeks flushed slightly as he shot Lando a playful glare. "Please, as if I'd be distracted by a little friendly competition."

But the twinkle in his eyes betrayed him, and I couldn't help but grin at the sight. It was moments like these that reminded me why I cherished our friendship so much – the banter, the laughter, the unspoken bond that held us together through thick and thin.

As the game began, the arena erupted into chaos – lasers flashing, footsteps pounding, shouts echoing off the walls. I dove behind cover, adrenaline coursing through my veins as I searched for my targets. Beside me, Nora let out a triumphant whoop as she scored her first hit, and I couldn't help but cheer her on.
