"Jaime, slow down! My hair's going to be messy by the time we get there!" I complained as I desperately tried to fix my hair. "Well you were the one who said flying would be quicker." Jaime replied. "Yeah, but I thought we would fly separately! Not you carrying me! Not that I don't like this, but my hair!" I said as I still tried to fix it. "Do your parents know?" I asked. "Know what?" Jaime replied, but he obviously knew what I was talking about.

"Oh I don't know, maybe the large blue bug that is attached to your back that gives you an amazing suit that makes you look hot and gives you weapons? Do they know that?" I asked as I gestured to his suit. He smirked and raised an eyebrow. "You think I look hot?" He asked. "Missing the point, but yes." I said as I smiled. "No, my family doesn't know, that's why we're landing a block away." He said as we headed down to the ground.

He gently put me on the ground feet first, then retracting his suit. He was wearing a nice blue dress shirt and black jeans, but also converse, like mine. "Thank you kind sir." I said smiling. "Anytime mi amore." He said as he planted a kiss on my forehead and we began to walk. We only walked for a few minutes before we were interrupted.

"Yo! Jaime!" A voice called from behind us. I turned to see a kid on a skateboard. He had long brown hair, an orange headband, an orange hoodie, and black pants. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give him a 7. He would get an 8 if it wasn't for all the orange. "Tye! What's up?" Jaime immediately greeted him with a fist bump. "Nothing much. Who's this?" 'Tye' asked as he pointed at me. Before Jaime could answer, I stuck out my hand. "I'm Chloe, his girlfriend." I said as politely as I could.

"Girlfriend? Look at you dude? Where are you from, France?" He asked as he nudged Jaime, ignoring my handshake. Why does everyone always assume I'm from France? Is my accent really that bad? "No. I'm from Dallas." I said as I crossed my arms. It was a lie obviously. But Jaime and I needed to have a reasonable explanation, besides, I couldn't say I fell from the sky from a world conquering/destroying planet and had crazy glowing powers. Believe it or not, not many people believe it. The last time I told someone that, they slowly backed away. Weird humans.

Tye looked at Jaime. "Really? When did you go to Dallas?" Tye asked. "Uh, awhile back, but anyway, we should get going-" Jaime said as he began to walk away, but Tye kept talking. "I'm Tye, but you already know that." He said as stuck out his hand. I actually shook it. "Great, nice meeting you Tye. We have to get going, bye!" I said as I pulled Jaime along. I heard the sound of skateboard wheels rolling as we walked in the opposite direction. "French accent, France. Why does everyone always say that?" I muttered to myself as we walked.
