Akshita sighed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, going through her nightly routine.

The soft glow of the vanity lights cast a warm light on her face, highlighting her features.

She was lost in her thoughts when suddenly, two strong arms wrapped around her from behind.

"What happened, baby? Why are you so silent?"

Adhiraj's voice was gentle, but there was a hint of concern in his tone.

Akshita turned to look at her husband, his handsome face clouded with a frown.

She took a deep breath before speaking.

"Raj, what was the need to make Mr. Goenka bankrupt? Today, when I was returning from the academy, Mrs. Goenka approached me. She looked so helpless and asked for our help. I thought I should talk to you about it before making any decisions."

Adhiraj's expression hardened at the mention of the Goenkas.

"Why did you even meet her, Akshu? I thought I made it clear that I don't want you involved in that goenka matters."

Akshita felt a pang of hurt at his words.

"Raj, I didn't meet her intentionally. She approached me on the way, and I couldn't just ignore her. She was in tears, pleading for help. How could I turn a blind eye?"

Adhiraj let out an exasperated sigh.

"Fine, but don't think about it too much. It's not your concern baby, leave it"

he said sternly.

"But Raj, if you could just consider..."

Akshita started, only to be cut off by him.

"No, Akshu. I'm sorry, but I don't want you to get involved in this matter. Please, stay out of it for your own sake,"

Adhiraj said, leaning in to kiss her cheek.

She nodded.

"Sorry baby but please try to understand we don't want anyone to point out to you so please stay out of this matter"

"Hmm"

Naina walked out of the bathroom and saw Aarav still glued to his laptop, she couldn't help but feel frustrated.

She had been waiting for him to spend some quality time together, but it seemed like work always came first.

"Aarav, it's already late now. The whole day isn't enough for you to work. At least leave it at night and spare some time for your wife,"

she said, her irritation evident in her voice.

"Sorry, baby, just give me two minutes,"

Aarav replied, not looking up from his screen.

Naina sighed and sat on the bed, feeling dejected.

After a few minutes, Aarav finally closed his laptop and went to her, wrapping his arms around her.

"Sorry, baby. Look at me,"

he said, trying to make amends.

She reluctantly looked up at him, still annoyed.

His puppy dog eyes and cute apology made her chuckle despite herself.

"It's okay, but next time, keep your laptop out of our room, otherwise I'll throw it away,"

she warned him playfully.

"Fine, fine, whatever you say,"

Aarav said, leaning in closer to her.

"What do you want to do now?"

"I was thinking we could watch a movie,"

She suggested, trying to lighten the mood.

"Sounds perfect to me. Let's do it."

As they settled in to watch the movie, she remembered something important to tell him.

"Oh, by the way, Mrs. Goenka met Akshita bhabhi today. She was asking for her help when bhabhi was returning from her academy,"

Aarav's smiling face immediately turned serious.

"Don't pay attention to it, neither you nor bhabhi and Priya,"

He said sternly and she nodded immediately.

She leaned to his shoulder, and he smiled and kissed her forehead.

Akshat sat comfortably on the bed, scrolling through his phone to wind down after a long day.

He heard Priya's voice echoing from the bathroom, calling out to him.

"Akshat, I forgot to bring my clothes. Can you please pass them to me?"

Akshat turned his head towards the couch where Priya's nightgown lay.

A mischievous spark lit up in his eyes as he thought of a playful way to tease her

He grinned to himself before responding,

"Baby, I'm a bit busy right now. Why don't you come out and grab it yourself?"

Priya let out a soft sigh, knowing all too well what her husband was up to.

She calmly tied the bathrobe around her and stepped out of the bathroom, her eyes fixed on the nightgown that she needed.

Ignoring Akshat's antics, she walked towards the couch to retrieve her clothing.

Before she could reach it, Akshat swiftly moved towards her, intercepting her path. With a mischievous grin, he playfully tugged at the belt of her bathrobe, causing her to protest softly.

"Akshat, let me go. I need to get my clothes,"

He ignored her plea and gently pushed her against the wall, trapping her between his arms.

His touch sent shivers down her spine, causing a warm blush to spread across her cheeks.

As he teasingly started to undo the tie of her bathrobe, her heart raced with a mix of excitement and anticipation. She could feel his warm breath against her skin as he whispered,

"Baby, you look so beautiful when you blush like this. It's driving me crazy."

"Akshat, not now. Let me get my clothes first,"

she managed to say between giggles, her protests falling on deaf ears as her bathrobe slipped off her shoulders and pooled at her feet.

Next morning,

Everyone was having breakfast,

Adhiraj spoke,

"Dad I am thinking of having a trip all of us, what say?"

"Okay you all can plan and then tell me, nowadays no one considers me that important to ask before doing anything"

They looked at each other.

"Dad we are sorry, at that time, we didn't think much, it's just we can't stand our father's insult, nobody has the right to do that, then too if you think we did wrong then we apologise from the core of the heart that we didn't inform you about it earlier"

"Sorry dad"

They apologized holding ears.

He looked at digvijay and he nodded.

"Fine but next time I don't want rash decisions, remember one thing, the only thing that matters to me is what my family thinks about me not outsiders."

They nodded.

"Hmm, so where you all want to go, somewhere here or out of India"

"Dad we can go to our ancestral home in the village dadi also wanted to go for a long time and we'll offer prayers to kuldevi also" akshita said.

"We agree with bhabhi" naina said.

"Okay then we'll go to our ancestral home, I'll ask to make all the arrangements there"

Everyone nodded.
