I laughed, "For real? Let's hear it again." I stepped out of the booth and sat next to him. Just then, his friend Daniel walked in with some food.

"Ryan, you wrote this?" Jeff asked, looking intrigued.

"Well, big props to her. You crushed it," Jeff said, giving me a nod.
"Thanks! I've got to bounce, though. Quincy's fashion show for his line is tonight, so I need to get ready."
Daniel stepped closer, "Ryan, want to go out sometime?"
I gave him a look like he'd lost his mind. "Thanks, Daniel, but I don't think it's a good idea to show up at my ex's event with a new guy."
