I arrived in New York and all I wanted was for my husband to make love to me and then sleep! My Uber driver dropped me to Keith's rental house and carried my belongings to the door.
"Thanks Jim." I handed him a $70 tip and called Keith. He didn't answer.
"What the fuck?" I muttered. "I know this nigga ain't sleepin'."
Redialing, he finally picked up, sounding like he just ran a marathon.
"Hey baby. W-what's up, you good?"
I smiled knowing he was gonna be happy to see me.
"I'm perfect, but I got a surprise for you waiting at the door. Go open it."
Before Keith got to the door, I placed my hand over the peephole, so he couldn't see. He opened the door and was surprised that I was there, but his reaction wasn't exactly fireworks. I tucked away my phone and leaped into his arms.
"BABY!!!" He screamed spinning me around, "What are you doing here?" He asked shocked.
"Well, I missed you and I know we haven't been seeing eye to eye lately, so I figured what better way to rekindle our relationship? So I decided to surprise you."
"Damn, I can't believe you did this." He seemed disappointed.
"Really Keith? That's all you have to say after I flew across the country to be with you?"
He hugged my waist. "Of course, I'm happy to see you, I just wish I would've known because I would've taken the day off to be with you."
We kissed and as I hugged him, I smelled a perfume that wasn't mine on his body. "I'm fuckin' trippin'. I know this man ain't cheating on me."
I grabbed his hand to head towards the bedroom, but he stopped me and I grew suspicious. Like why was he acting like this? He's always been quick to jump my bones.
"How about I bring your stuff in, you can get in the shower and let's spend some time together. Hm?" He kissed me again.
I smiled. "I'd like that."
As he rushed for my gear, my gut screamed "intrigue." I dashed to his room, knowing something was off, and I was right! He was right behind me, hot on my trail.
"Baby baby, I can explain!"
"BITCH!" I said as I jumped onto Keith's bed trying to attack the girl, but before I could get my hands on her, he grabbed me.
I bit his arm as hard as I could. "SHIT!" He yelled in pain before letting me loose.
I ran back down the hall and found the bitch trying to put her clothes on, she was still naked.
