Quincy Headquarters
"Quincy! What's up bro?!" Justin said dabbing me.
"What's going on?"
"Aye, our sisters were actually on time for the photo shoot."
"Oh, that's what's up, let's get this over with."
From my vantage point at my company, Quincy Headquarters, I observed with pride as my sisters, D'lilah and Jessie, brought life to our purple "Quincy" sweatshirts during the photoshoot.
"Looking fantastic, ladies! Quincy apparel has never looked better," I praised, appreciating their modeling skills.
D'lilah, adjusting her sweatshirt, grinned and said, "Quincy, you've got a hit with these."
"Absolutely," Jessie agreed, striking a pose. "People are going to love these cozy yet stylish sweatshirts."
I nodded, "That's the goal—comfort without compromising on style. We want everyone to feel good in Quincy."
The photographer continued to capture the essence of the brand, and I couldn't help but join in the playful banter. "D'lilah, don't hog all the spotlight," I teased.
She laughed, "Sorry, Quincy, it's just too comfy!"
As the camera clicked away, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. Seeing my vision come to life through the lens, embodied by my sisters, was a reminder of the journey we'd taken together in building the Quincy brand.
Embracing my sisters, I couldn't help but beam with pride. "You both nailed it! Mom would be so proud. These sweatshirts, they carry her spirit," I shared.
D'lilah grinned, saying, "Thanks, Quincy."
Jessie chimed in, "It's not just about the fashion; it's about family."
Kissing their foreheads, I felt a mix of gratitude and nostalgia. This moment wasn't just a photoshoot; it was a continuation of our family legacy.
"Hey, y'all wanna grab some lunch with your big brothers?"
"Sure." They said in unison.
"AYO! Justin! Let's dip, me and the girls are hungry." ——————————————————————————————————————

Ryan's Apartment...the same morning/afternoon
The sunlight snuck through the curtains, nudging me awake with a hangover's gentle insistence. Stomach doing somersaults, I shuffled to the bathroom, my loyal squad—Amiyah, Jude, and Brittany—in tow.
Jude, thrusting a wet towel my way, smirked, "Wine regret hitting hard?"
I managed a weak chuckle. After the bathroom symphony, we gathered in the kitchen, opting for a modest breakfast. Amidst shared groans about last night's choices, we decided brunch was the remedy.
Brittany, grinning, said, "Let's get some fresh air and real grub."
Soon, we raided the closets for brunch-worthy outfits, hoping a change of scenery would cure more than just the headache.
"What about hitting up a diner for old times' sake?" Amiyah suggested.
"Yeah, let's go. I'm wearing sweats since it's raining out, and I legit feel like shit," I said, popping an ibuprofen.
Amiyah received a text. "Damn, y'all, I can't make it to brunch."
"What? You suggest brunch and then bail?"
"Girl, my nigga just texted he's in town. I'll catch up with y'all, I promise!"
"You better!" I shouted as she hurried towards the door.
"Bye!" She yelled on her way out.
"I guess it's just us three," I shrugged, taking a sip of water.
"What are you in the mood for?"
"ROSCOES CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!" We all screamed.
