Rain and Thunder

The sky had been an ominous shade of gray all morning, and by midday, the storm warning was officially issued. BTS had been in the middle of a rehearsal when their manager delivered the news: all schedules were canceled due to the severe weather.

As the rain started to pour, they returned to their dorm, an unexpected day off stretching ahead of them. The sound of rain hitting the windows was almost hypnotic, and the usually bustling dorm took on a cozy, serene atmosphere.

RM was the first to embrace the unexpected leisure, settling on the couch with a thick book. The soft patter of rain provided the perfect background noise for his reading. Suga, inspired by the weather, retreated to his room to work on some new music, the rhythm of the storm outside mingling with the beats he was creating.

In the kitchen, Jin and J-Hope decided to make the most of their downtime by cooking up a storm of their own. They laughed and chatted as they prepared a hearty meal, the warmth from the stove contrasting with the chill outside.

"Did you hear that?" J-Hope suddenly exclaimed as a loud crack of thunder reverberated through the dorm, causing him to jump. Jin, who had been reaching for a pot, also startled, his eyes wide.

"Yeah, that was close!" Jin laughed nervously, glancing towards the window. "I think this storm means business."

Despite their initial fright, they quickly recovered, the comforting aroma of their cooking helping to steady their nerves. Meanwhile, Jimin and V were in the living room, sprawled out on the floor with blankets and pillows, playing a card game. They were deep in a playful argument about the rules when another clap of thunder boomed overhead.

"Whoa!" Jimin yelped, clutching his cards to his chest. V, though equally startled, burst out laughing at Jimin's reaction. "It's just thunder, Jimin-ah!"

In another corner, Jungkook had set up his camera by the window, capturing the dramatic storm. The flashes of lightning provided a natural, albeit unpredictable, light show for his photos. He glanced over at J-Hope and Jin, who were now nervously eyeing the storm while trying to keep their cooking on track.

"Hyungs, you should come watch this with me," Jungkook called out, his excitement evident. "It's amazing!"

The idea of being together and sharing the moment appealed to everyone. Soon, they gathered in the living room, plates of food in hand. Jin and J-Hope found a spot on the couch, keeping a wary eye on the window but smiling as they joined in the group's lighthearted banter.

They ate their meal together, the storm outside a spectacular backdrop. The occasional flash of lightning illuminated their faces, and the thunder seemed to punctuate their laughter and conversations. Despite the initial tension caused by the storm, the shared experience brought them closer, reminding them of the simple joys of each other's company.

After dinner, they decided to watch a movie. They dimmed the lights, letting the natural ambiance of the storm set the mood. Halfway through, another particularly loud clap of thunder startled J-Hope and Jin again, causing them both to jump and eliciting a round of laughter from the rest.

"Maybe we should have picked a comedy instead of a thriller," RM chuckled, earning nods of agreement.

As the night grew darker, the storm began to subside, but the rain continued to fall steadily. They stayed up late, talking about everything and nothing, the heavy rain outside cocooning them in their dorm. It was a rare and precious day off, a time to relax and reconnect, sheltered from the storm in their cozy sanctuary.
