Chapter Fourty

Josie's P.O.V.

All seemed calm for the next few weeks, I managed my time in and out of the house and began setting up the dates for my album release. For once it felt like things were falling into place again, but it all came crashing down once again.

"You set up your flight for tomorrow didn't you? They're having a big storm here and their airports will be shut down if you wait any longer!" Lily informed me through the phone

"I know! I know, I'm on my laptop right now and ordering my tickets," I reassured her

Alex and Lisa's wedding was in a few days, but I still needed to get a flight out to Baltimore where they were having it. They were having a hometown wedding and it was in a location where paps were completely sealed from, but the weather was making it a lot more difficult to deal with. They were having big storms there so their airports were beginning to shut down for safety reasons, but I had to stay in LA for the big interview to release my album date while Lily and the rest of the wedding party were already there.

"I have another call coming, I'll talk to you later, Lil," I told her before ending my call with her for my other one

"The hair and make up crew are already backstage! Where are you?!" Kate yelled into the phone as I groaned

"I just have to do a few more clicks to order plane tickets!"

"If you aren't here in under 15, I'm sending over a car to get you myself!" Kate demanded

"Alright I'm going!" I complied grabbing my shoes and rushing out the door

My interview tonight was for the late late show with James Corden and I was more than excited for it because I've always wanted to meet James, but I guess I lost track of time trying to find an open airport near Baltimore.

"I'm here, I'm here!" I panted out of breath as I rushed into the makeup department of the studio to get ready

"Late again Jojo," Ryder, my make up artist tsked at me

After getting prepared, Kate came into my dressing room looking a little more red than usual.

"You better thank me," she started off as I eyed her confusingly

"And why would I do that?"

"Because I got the show's producers to not ask you about the latest scandal you've managed to get yourself into again," she shook her head

"What are you on about? I haven't been out in days and I've been off social media for weeks," I reasoned

"Then who's Andy?"

"Andy? He's a guy I used to talk to for like a few days, but I haven't spoken to him in almost a month,"

"Well it looks like you two did a lot more than talking," she said before showing me a photo on her phone

It was taken from our date, obviously, since that was the last time I talked to him, but I don't have any recollection of it being taken. Especially since in the photo, I looked more than asleep. What the hell. It was when I was asleep next to Andy. Did he- did he take this?

"I know you needed a distraction from this whole Luke thing, but you didn't have to go this far and not with a guy who's blackmailing you!" She began raising her voice

"What could he possibly blackmail me with? And what does he even want from me?" He was a nice guy there's no way he could've done this

"This photo has you looking promiscuous as hell, Josie, if this gets out, the tabloids will eat it up and it's going to ruin your reputation,"
