The thunder crashed outside shaking the ground and walls as you cried. You were always afraid of thunderstorms. They scared the death out of you. And we're not talking about the Death right now. Thunder rolled over and over as you rocked back and forth inside the closet, your safe place.

You were so scared. This was the worst storm you've encountered since you were eight. You are now Y/A, and still afraid of thunderstorms. You were such a wimp. Good thing your brothers didn't know, they would laugh at you. Look, the Winchesters little sister was crying in her closet over a thunderstorm. Wouldn't a lot of people and things get a hit out of that.

Why did you have to be afraid, why? The thunder boomed making you scream in terror. Your screams were drowned out by the deadly music of the thunder and the rain pelting the ground terribly hard. Just take deep breaths, it might help. You tried but it didn't work. You were having a full blown panic attack. You hyperventilated till you felt dizzy, not having a care in the world about grabbing a bag.

Boom, you scream. Crash, you scream. It was never going to stop, you thought. This was so terrible. You sobbed, salty tears streaming down your face and falling onto the floor. No one was coming to your rescue. This wasn't a hunt, no, it was a fear that wasn't harmful. The thunder stopped, making you think you were safe. Sighing a breath of happiness, you get up off the floor only to scream and fall back down after another terrible sound.

Please, why can't it stop. Boom, crash, crackle, roar. It kept going on and on and on for hours. You were so frightened. After one last noise and shake of the ground you decided. You ran out of your closet and threw your door open. You ran down the hall towards Dean's room, which was far away, but not as far away as Sam's. Finally reaching his door, you swing that open and jump into his bed, huddling into his back.

"Y/N?" Your eldest brother spoke in a gravelly morning voice. You whimpered in response making him turn around to see your scared form. "What's wrong Kiddo?" He questioned, his voice full of concern and worry. You didn't answer, you just continued shaking and huddling into him where you felt safe. "Tell me what's wrong Princess. Is something in your room?" Dean demands, his voice hardening thinking danger was awaiting for him in your room. You merely shook your head. "Then what is it?"

"Th-thunder." You stutter out in a meek voice. The thunder explodes again right on time, making you once again howl in terror. Dean sighs and holds you closer to him in his arms, lightly kissing your hair and rubbing odd shapes into your back. "Take it away Dea. It's scary." You whimpered quietly, to afraid to speak any louder in fear of another thunderclap sounding.

"Shh, it's alright Princess. I've got you, it's not gonna get you." Dean murmurs into your H/L H/C hair. You look up at your brother with your E/C eyes, them sparkling with unshed tears and widened in terror. Dean smiles a ghost of a smile and continues muttering sweet nothings into your locks, occasionally kissing your head. "It's gonna be okay Y/N. I've got you. I love you kid." Dean speaks.

"I love you too Dea." You sleepily answer, your eyes growing heavy. As you fell asleep, you heard one last thing from your brother.

"I love you little sis. And don't worry, Team Free Will will always take care of you. We've got your back. Don't you worry your brain about it." and you slowly drifted to a soundless sleep, Dean humming Hey Jude unknowingly to you.
