Song of Choice: GhostBusters theme

Imagine: Charlie thought she had been arrested. So did you.

"Be afraid," you sneered, "be so very afraid." Charlie punched you in the shoulder as she rolled her eyes, a little chuckle escaping her lips. "Hey, we've got to let them know we're the real deal!"

"I doubt anyone would think we were the real deal." She snorted, ruffling your hair. You pushed her off and hissed like a cat before giggling and running up to the next door.

"Lighten up, Charles! It's Halloween, a night of cryptids, ghosts, ghouls, and near death experiences! The best night of all." The red, mahogany door opened slowly, revealing an elderly lady with a cat and a bowl of candy in her arms. "Trick or treat!"

"Oh, my dears, you are absolutely darling!" You smiled at her and held out your little box that had an insignia of a ghost. "Why, you're the first GhostBusters I've seen tonight! It's one of my favorite movies. Here, take a few handfuls. You deserve it!" You and Charlie scooped up the candy greedily before reaching the next house.

"See? I told you GhostBusters was the way to go!" You argued, sifting through your candy, being guided by the light of street lamps. "Everyone loves the GhostBusters."

"But people also love the Sanderson sisters!" Charlie rebutted, throwing a candy wrapper at you. Blinking slowly, you picked the pink wrapper out of your suit and dropped it in your bag.

"Rude. Anyways, next house! I heard there is a haunted house down the road and I want to get there before they close up." Charlie winked at you.

"Honey, you read my mind." Thirty minutes later and the two of you were walking up a dirt road, hands digging in each other's candy bags, trading the ones you don't want and unwillingly eating the ones you both don't like.

"Ugh, that sucked more than the last time it did!" You scrunched up your nose and shook your head as if that would get the taste out of your mouth.

"You have willingly eaten this? You sicko! How am I friends with you?" Charlie screamed, gasping and taking a step away from you as if you had suddenly turned green. You raised your hands in submission, eyes widening.

"It was a bet! A bet." The ginger placed her hand over her chest and sighed deeply.

"Good. Now, let's go to this haunted house!" The two of you ran the rest of the way up the road, flinging up dirt behind you and dirtying your identical black boots. When you reached the door, you stopped straight in your tracks and looked up at the Victorian house. "Did lightning just crackle on a clear night?" Charlie nodded. You glanced at her and she at you before speaking at the same time.

"Cool."

You walked with cautious steps up to the door, eyes widening when the door creaked open and nobody was there. "Scary." Fell out of your lips. With a shrug, you sauntered in and observed the parlor you were in. Charlie unhooked her vacuum end, making you laugh. "We're not going to come across any real ghosts, Winston." She rolled her eyes.

"Fight me, Raymond. Now, let's go up the-" before she could finish her sentence, lightning flashed and thunder crashed, revealing a figure standing at the top of the stairs. She had curly, short, blonde hair. A pink jacket covered a pink sweater which was tucked into a pink skirt. She looked... familiar. Charlie gripped your wrist as the lady grinned.

"Deep down, you know that you deserve to be punished." Her grin turned evil.

"It's Umbridge! Y/N, run!" Charlie screamed at the top of her lungs, tightening her hold on your wrist before she flew out of there on clumsy feet that nearly brought her down multiple times. "That was the scariest haunted house I've ever been to. She even talked like her, Y/N." Once the two of you were safely back in her apartment, you had emptied out your bags and began talking about the most terrifying part of the night. "I swear that she got arrested. In the books, she was arrested!"

"Relax, Charles. Umbridge isn't real. If she was, we'd be dead." Lightning cracked outside the window.

"Why did you run my dears?"
