Chapter 20: Rescue Mission Is A Go!!

Luz pov:

We all left the owl house, getting on our respective palismen and waited for eda and Lilith to be ready, flap jack was kind enough to let me fly on him, he also wants to see his pal hunter which I thought was adorable, lil budy misses his owner,

" All right, guys, once we leave, there is no turning around, luz you remember the plan?" Eda asked me, I was appointed the leader of our group so I was in charge, " Yep, you can count on us, yall just do your thing, we can handle the rest, right guys" I asked turning around and looking at everyone else,
" YEAA," they all screamed at once, ampt up to save their friend, even amity, which surprised me since they really didn't get along that well.

" Good, and luz, be careful for Titan sake, I don't know what I do if I lose you too, king, you're in charge of the house while we're gone, watch over hoody" Eda told king,

" yea yea just get back safe," King said before slamming the door, probably going off to go take a nape. He wanted to come as well, but Eda and I thought he would be better off here.

" alright then, me and Lilith are off then, we'll give you the signal when to start" as eda said that, she got on owlbert and flew off, Lilith following her shortly behind, alright were actually doing this,
" alright guys let's go,"

The plan was simple, me, gus, willow and amity would go to a side entrance of the castle, once we get there a scout will unlock the door and let us in, then he will take us to where there keeping hunter at while eda and Lilith make as much noise as possible in front of the castle, raine and Darius have a part in this plan aswell, they will take all the scouts that are at the part of the prison section and go to the front of the castle to try and capture eda and Lilith but will obviously fail, so no one will see us or stop us, we'll get hunter and escape to the landing docks where we get on our palismen and fly away like nothing happened, seems simple enough, what could possibly go wrong.

We all made our way to the castle, the sun has already gone to sleep, being replaced by the bright full moon, we all flew to our spoken spot that we all would land at, we were approaching it fast, I started to get nervous, this has to go exactly to plan or were all done for, hopefully it does.

We all landed and got off, the castle was in view, surrounded by scouts, now we just gotta wait for eda and Lilith to give us the go, " alright guys this is it, once we get the signal we book it to that entrance" I told them, pointing at the closed door, "somone should hopefully be on the other side waiting for us,"

" Are you sure about this guy, luz?"

" raine told eda he's cool, he hates the emperor just as much as we do" there was a sudden explosion and bright lights appearing in the sky, that's the signal, we all ran, not stopping for a second, We made it to the door and I started knocking on it, " luz we should turn around, this guy is-"

The door suddenly opens, appearing a scout on the other side. Amity was about yo blast the scout before I put my arm up. The scout suddenly spoke

" So your the guys here for hunter, didn't know you would be kids but, whatever, follow me" the scout said, everyone looked at me like am I sure about this, I gave them a reassured look and started following the scout, everyone else reluctantly followed, really having no other choice, as plan, no one was around, raine and Darius did there job perfectly, not even one scout was around,

" umm mr scout"

" Please call me steve," the scout said, " Oh ok, steve, so how come you're on our side?"

" it's... complicated, but let's just say I don't support what he's doing to your friend hunter, makes me sick" steve responded, shaking his head in discust, we continued walking before steve stopped, "did you guys hear that" he suddenly said, I listened quietly but heard nothing, " Nope, I hea-"
