Chapter 34: Fun Day/ gus) part one

Luz pov:

It's an understament that anyone got any proper sleep that night, me, amity and vee just stayed up and chatted all night, willow kept to herself, but I knew she wasn't asleep, I decided to give her some space though, no one's taking this easy, everyones been affected for the worst, and to make things worse today well would be the day of unity, tie all of this together and you have a ball that's going to blow, but when, no one knows, to keep this ball from exploding I was thinking of a plan to keep everyone descreacted and get them to have fun, after close choices, I decided the only place to take them was the mall, we can take gus to build a bear or the comic store, we could take willow to the garden and plant store or to dicks, and amity, we'll she was a hard person to think of but I think I have the perfect place, hot topic, or we can get our futures told by a fortchen teller, hopefully this makes them feel better but also helps get rid of the failure feeling that I've been feeling, deep in my stomach, hopefully because this feeling is painful.

So I woke up earlier than everyone and decided to introduce everyone to the wonderful foods that go under the breakfast category, eggs, bacon, walfals, pancakes, orange juice, EVERYTHING, it's been forever since I had human food so I'm a little excited to eat my favorite things again. I quietly got up and made my way out the room, stepping over amity and out the room, I made my way downstairs and to the kitchen, I had a mini heartatack when I saw gus sitting at the table with his head laying on the table, looking outside of the window at the sun slowly rising, he turned his gaze and saw me but soon returned his gaze back to the window,

" Morning gus, how you sleep?" I asked as I sat down across from the boy,

" Not very good, had a nightmare, couldn't fall back to sleep."

" Oh, well, since you're up, wanna help me make breakfast, I help you," I told gus, his head raised, and he looked at me, interested in my proposal,

" mhmmm, never had human food before, and my stomach is hungry, sure, I'll help,"

" Yay, this be so much fun, been forever since I cooked food that didn't have eyeballs or vains, or screams, or that's not just slop "

" Now I can't wait, let's cook," gus said as he got up excitedly and ran to the fridge,

" Right behind you,"

We got everything out and prepped, I tought gus how to use the oven and how to make each food, he was surprisingly helpful which surprised me, never knew he had a talent for cooking, as we made the food I granted gus to have a bite of his masterpieces, never have I ever seen gus this happy, let's just say he really liked human food, I had to stop him from eating all of it, we were halfway done before amity came into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes

" What's that wonderful smell, never smelt something like it?"

" Ohhh, amity, human food is the BEST. better than deamon realms has to offer, when you take a bite, you're gonna beg us to make more, " gus told her,

" Umm, sure I will. Do you need any help?"

" na were good, just sit down and I'll serve you mi amor" I told her, she just shook her head and sat down while blushing, I tought her a few words in Spanish while in the deamon realm, so she should know what I or my mama say in Spanish, still need to teach her some more,

As I grabbed her a plate and gave it to her vee and willow came strolling in,

" Hey, I'm usually the one who cooks breakfast,"

" sorry vee, maybe next time, now sit, sit, breakfast ready" I told them, me and gus served them, amity was already half way done, it was hard to say if she liked it or loved it, it wasn't long before everyone else was eating, everyone loved the breakfast me and gus made, I decided to make a plate for mama and bring her some, breakfast in bed, brilliant idea luz,
