Chapter 26: Mind Games

Hunter pov:

Today was a rough day, there was a lot of preparation for today, everything had to be perfect, I thought it over but overall told them that I would help with there mission, so did Lilith, so it's going to be me, Lilith, raine, Eberwolf, and Darius, were all supposed to meet up in a alleyway in town, I asked Lilith to wake me when it's time to leave so that's what I've been doing since me and luz got home, sleeping, I just wanted to hang out with her just in case something went wrong and might be our last time seeing eachother, just in case though, nothing will happen though,

I was soundly asleep, having a good dream when I felt someone quietly shake me,

" hunter, it's time" Lilith whispered, I opened my eyes and sat up, there was some tea on the table waiting for me, to help me wake up, I greatfuly took and started to drink it,

" So, are you ready?"

" Ready than I'll ever be, is everyone asleep?" I asked her, making sure we left with no eyes on us, " Yep, I went ahead and grabbed flap jack as well, were just waiting on you" Lilith told me, I finished my tea and stood up, setting the tiny cup down, Lilith threw me a cloak,

" put it on and we'll leave" I shook my head and put it on, Lilith put hers on aswell, we quietly opened the front door, making sure not to wake hoody up and left, making our way into town to the night Market.

They were certain no one was following them, absolutely no one.... right?

We got to town and hopped off our palismen, we quietly sneaked to the meet up spot, there were a couple of scouts on patrol so we made sure to not be seen, we stayed in the shadows, we finally got to the place we agreed to do it at, everyone was there and ready,

" finally, now we may get started, raine, do it" Darius told him, raine shook his head and started to draw it, I was on look out but I was to drawn at the symbol raine was drawing to see the figure closely behind us, getting closer and closer, raine had finished it and set the poshion down on the ground,

" alright everyone gather around and listen closely, im only going over this once, does everyone got there walkie-talkie first" Darius asked, we all shook our heads and Darius continued, halfway of him explaining what's the plan was, we all heard something behind us, we all looked and saw the one person they didn't think they would be seeing tonight.... Luz

"HA-AH, what's going on here? Also, why are you guys wearing those cloaks?"

"LILITH I THOUGHT YOU SAID EVERYONE WAS ASLEEP, " I wishipered yelled

" WELL, I THOUGHT SHE WAS," she wishipered, yelled aswell, Luz started to walk closer and closer to us.

" luz, you need to go home," I told her, walking closer to her

" I'm not going home until I get some answers," luz said, anger pulsing through her as she stepped closer,

" LUZ STOPP!" I screamed, lunging to her, but it was too late. She had accidentally stepped and broke the vial. Now, the yellow liquid was now slowly leaking inside the circle, and it started to glow.

" HUNTER!" Darius yelled, but it was too late. Me and Luz were already gone. In a bright flash, everyone was stunned at what had just happened.

" Well, this isn't good," Lilith said

I slowly open my eyes, I stood up and rubbed my aching head that was pounding, the first thing I saw was a portrait of belos, then it hit me, were in beloses mind, I than scanned my surrounding and my gaze fell upon a certain girl who just got us in a load of trouble... Luz
