Chapter 41: Explorer

Hunter pov:

Its day five on my recovery, I've been doing much better Camila told me, so good that im healthy enough to go outside which is exciting,  gus and willow insisted that they show me around town, vees coming with aswell so that we don't get in trouble, luz and Amity are staying this one out, not like they really want to come anyway with them dealing with their own issues, they haven't really been talking to eachother much, with luz having her noise in every 17th century book in town and any books that talk about witches and mention Philip Wittebane and Caleb Wittebane, trying to find any clues that can get us back to the deamon realm, while amity is staying trapped up in her room, staying away from everybody, they actually don't know that were going out today, we tried telling them but luz said that shes busy, not listening to us while amity on the other hand just slamed the door to our faces, luz dosent even know whats going on around her anymore, each day shes just studying while ignoring her girlfriend whos getting more and more silenly upset with her each day, all amity knows is that luz would do anything else to avoid her, luz dosent even know she causing amity harm by doing all of this, all she think is that everythings fine between them but it's clearly not, and that's being said by me, it's clearly a problem when I start to see a rift between their relationship but its none of my problem, there both old enough to deal with there own problems, but I may have to lead luz to the right direction before leaving,

Today started preety good, I got one hour of sleep which is better than none, the gaping hole on my side is pretty much gone at this point and Camila breakfast tasted so good, after breakfast me, gus, willow, and vee are leaving, I saw luz sitting at the table eating and reading, this is her 4th book in three days, and at the other side of the table was an angry amity, after everyone was done eating, amity left to go upstairs while everyone else got ready for the day, I grabbed luzs arm and pulled her to the side,

" So, how's your reaschurt going? Is there anything new?"

" Nope, nothing, I might go to the library soon when it opens."

" mhmm well, why don't you take amity with? She must be pretty lonly with you, never speaking to her and pushing her off. "

" Huh, what are you talking about? were fine, "

" You sure about that? Because from amity face it looks like you guys haven't even spoken to one another since your guys had that fight. She's pretty upset with you,"

" Wait, really, oh no, iv just been so busy an-"

" Take the day off and talk to her,"

" sighh, but there's so much to do, but I can't just continue ignoring her either, hunterr what do I doo" luz asked as she banged her head on the wall,

" Sorry, but this is your problem,  you gotta solve this on your own,"

luz just rolled her eyes before leaving to do what I presume would be to go apologize to amity, I feel bad for her, she dealing with a lot right now, and now you can add amity to the list of problems, wish I could help.... well, I could help. I'm just not, best to let them deal with their own issues and not interven, all I was doing now was waiting for everyone to get ready, I didn't had to wait long though, when I had finally sat down everyone showed up,

" Alright, everyone ready," Vee asked, swirling her keys around, Camila doesn't have work today, so she was kind enough to lend vee the car for today,

" yesyesyes, can we go to the park first?"

" sure we'll start there, alright everyone get your stuff and let's go" Vee told everyone, we all gathered our things and left, gathering into the car and leaving, as we drove I looked outside the window and looked at everything, everything looked so weird, all the houses were in rowes and all even, each house looked kinda the same, some had different colors while others had different front yards, I was in awe by everything,
