Chapter 38: Huggs and More Huggs

Hunter pov:

Everything hurt, scratch that, my whole body was in severe pain, when I opened my eyes fully I noticed that I was in a house, but who's house, I slowly sat up and took in my surrounding, I wasn't in the demon realm by the look of it,  I tried to stand but to quickly return to my original position when a stabbing sensation appeared by my side, best to not move and cause any more pain than I'm already in,

As I continued to look around, something fell and shattered behind me. This made me flinch and cause my instincts to kick in, I turned around, ready to attack, but calmed down and remembered where I was, There stood a girl who I've never seen before standing there, with a shocked expression on her face and glass shattered everywhere by her feet,

" ummm, hi," I awkwardly said while waving to the person. She just turned around and ran back to where she came from, screaming if I may add,

" LUZZZZ "

she then disappeared, but only for a moment before reappearing with a person I did know, Luz, she was shocked to see me up but quickly ran to my side, hugging the life out of me,

" Oh my God, you're up, you're up, you're not dead, how are you feeling, are you in any pain?"

" Just soar, can you please let me go before you hug me to death" I said as I patted her back, trying to get her to let go. She shortly released

" Where's everyone?"

" Asleep, they're gonna be so excited to see your up"

" I bet, how long have I been asleep?" I asked

" For five days and 9 hours, didn't know if you would ever wake up," the lady behind luz said,

" Oh, that's a long time.... and who are you?"

" Oh, I'm vee, I'm from the deamon realm like you guys, and also im a Basilisk, " the person named vee said, Basilisk, I thought belos killed or imprisoned them all, and how did she get to earth?

" oh, well it's a pleasure to meet you ve- GAHH, my head" pain shot through my head as I talked to vee, I grabbed the side of my head, I started massaging the sides with my thumbs, trying to get rid of the headache or the pain,

" thought you said you weren't in pain,"

" I'm not. I just need some rest, or maybe some food,"

" oh I go get you some soup, maybe that help, luz keep an eye on him " Vee told luz, she gave vee a thumbs up in response and vee disappeared into what seemed like the kitchen, luz sat done on the ground next to me, looking out of the window, the sun was rising slowly, it wouldn't be long when everyone wakes up to start the day, we both stayed quiet, just watching the sun rise, when luz started to speak it caught me off guard,

" you really worried us hunter, I thought you were dead, I thought belos killed you when you tried to save me, we thought we would never see you again and when you appeared, we thought you wouldn't make it" luz told me,

" I'm sorry for worrying you and the others. You should know nothing can kill me or separate us, I'll always find my way back to you,"

" but this was a close call, I don't want you doing or even attempting something like that again, risking your life. It almost caused you your life hunter,"

" You should know I'm always gonna risk my life for you guys. If I die saving you guys well, I'm okay with that, "

" well I'm not okey with that, hunter, I love you, your like a brother to me, and I don't want to see you die, or hurt, I don't want you to leave me like he did" she said as the looked at a picture that was next to her, it was a picture of an older man, It kinda looked like her but way older and a guy, I looked back at her to see that she was crying now, I raised my hand and sat it on her shoulder, trying to reasur her that I wouldn't leave her,
