Chasing After You- A Dom and Letty fanfic.

Tulips

Letty opened her apartment door. She was on her way to her university when she found a dozen tulips on her doorstep. A smile spread across her face. There was no note or card but she kinda had a feeling it was from Dominic.

"Hmmm..Dominic, why is is so hard for you to admit? She said to herself. After putting the flowers in  a vase she hurriedly walked out. Before heading for her classes she went to the nearby cafe and got herself a croissant. She drove to her university and walked into her lecturing hall. Professor Morgan and a few of her classmates were already there.

Letty walked over to her table and a note was on it. It read "I hope you liked the tulips and I'm really sorry for the way I treated you the other day and also thanks for fixing my car".

Letty was really touched at what Dom did. She never knew Dom was a sweet guy. No has ever done anything like that for her before and coming from Dom its like'WOW'! So she called Mia.

"Hey Mia, can you gimme Dom's number". "Why?" "I'll tell you some other time just give me the number". "Fine, just use a condom okay... And his number is 8175559865". "What?!"

Then Letty called Dom.

"Dominic Toretto". "Hey Dom its me Letty. I called to thank you for the tulips. They're really beautiful and I don't mind you calling me that, I'm actually pretty used to it". " NO! It isn't acceptable, no one should call you that, you are who you are and quite frankly you looked hot in that outfit".

Letty laughed "wow, this is a side of Dominic Toretto I've never heard before". "There are many sides of me that you don't know". "I guess I'll just have to figure it out".

Dom laughed at her remark.

"I'm so sorry, Proffesor Morgan's about to start... Gotta go. "O-okay, talk to you soon".

Dom came home early from work cause Mia was cooking his favourite chicken dish.

"Mia, is the food ready, I'm starving". "It's don, I'm coming".

Dom was about to grab the chicken when Mia said "In this household, we say grace before we shove food into our mouths". "Right I'm sorry..go ahead".

"Dear Lord, thank you for the food today, thank you for our family and thank you blessing us always....Amen".

As Dom and Mia were eating suddenly out of the blue Dom  asked Mia something that surprised her a little.

"So, how did you meet Letty?" "I met her when I sent my car to the garage, she's crazy about cars and she kinda reminded me of you....plus she's a street racer since she was like 15 years old". "That's funny, cause I go for most of the street races and I've  ever seen her before".

"She doesn't really make herself publicized". "Has she ever raced with me?" "I doubt it, she don't have that kinda cash". "What if I payed for her street races?"

"She doesn't roll that way... Wait a second big brother..are you telling me you're falling in love?" "It's just a street race Mia nothing else".

"Uh-huh that's what he said".

Dom didn't listen to Mia anymore, he was figuring out a way to get her to a street race. He snapped out of his thoughts and muttered "since when have I ever cared for her, she's nothing to me".

But yet Dom couldn't resist the thought of him and her racing. He couldn't resist the thought of her.
