Chapter Two: The Novel

I swear! I can't remember the name Celeste in the novel. Am I somehow one of those unknown characters? Or a character whose name was never mentioned? A Tertiary Character, a background or an occasional character.

But yeah, The novel entitled A Deal With My Duke has a great plot. Basically, the female lead lost her family because they were all slaughtered by the late emperor of an empire called Douglas Empire. And with that tragedy as her past, she trained to become a great knight at the imperial palace to kill the descendants of the emperor who basically killed her family.

And of course, as someone who's from a low-ranking noble she needed a support from a high-ranking noble and that's where she'll come to find a young duke who's basically the male lead.

They'll have a deal to be married in paper in exchange to kill the descendants of the imperial family. A marriage contract.

The thing is crown prince ang second male lead. Sooo, ang crown prince ang maga-adjust at ibibigay ang trono sa female lead as long as masaya ang kaniyang pinakamamahal na tao which is obviously the female lead.

No war will break out and the male lead and female lead will live happily ever after. The second male lead will then agonize in pain and will meet his doom in the end of the story. Nakakaawa.

Nakakaawa ang second male lead. Siguro'y naging tanga siya masyado sa pagmamahal.

And Edmund Dukedom. The Duchery who supports the imperial family greatly. They're on the right side -not a villanous family- at masyado silang pinapahalagahan ng imperial family.

Of course, Duke Conrad, Celeste's Father, is the Grand Duke. His sons are the jolly friends of the male lead and female lead. His wife and daughter who died—

Paano kung mamatay nga ako sa future? Surely, they'll agonize. Gaya nga ng sabi sa Novel, hindi na sila magpapakita sa mga tao. They'll never attend the gatherings, balls, or whatsoever.

I can't never imagine this jolly family being down and sad. Masyadong masaya ang pamilya nila. They have those warm faces that can melt one thy's cold heart. Maaliwalas rin ang mansyon nila, hudyat na maganda talaga ang pamamalakad nila.

The way the novel described this Duchery is just amazing. Parang pati ang author ng Novel ay gustong-gusto sila.

Then that only means that I have a mission to fulfill!

Bumangon ako at nagningning ang mga mata. TAMA! KAILANGAN KONG MABUHAY PARA SA PAMILYANG 'TO!

That must be the reason why I'm here. To save this body, to save Diamond Celeste Edmund from meeting her doom in the end. And that way, I'll be saving these ugoks from being sad.

The thing is... ano nga ba ang illness, sakit, na siyang dahilan ng pagkamatay niya?

So, this is what it feels like to live inside a fairytale? inside a Fantasy Novel?

Ang mala-dagat na kulay asul na kalangitan, ang makukulay na mga dahon ng bawat puno, the beautiful butterflies dancing around the garden flowers, thebeautiful faces of every characters, the.. everything. Ibang-iba sa mundo na nakagisnan ko sa unang buhay ko.

I wonder what year it is now. Kung hindi ako magkakamali ay may mangyayaring pag-aaral muna sa nobela bago mangyari ang deal ng dalawang bida ng kuwento.

If I study in that academy, will I watch the main characters' action like a live show?

Actually, that sounds like a good idea!

But before that, kailangan ko munang maging matapang at maging healthy. But how would I do that? Ano ang mga posibleng bagay ang dapat kong gawin para maging malusog na tao?

"Dad.... I want to learn how to wield a sword." binalingan ko sila ng tingin at nakitang nakanganga na sila ngayon sa 'kin.

Tinaas ko ang kamay ko at umakteng na may hawak na espada at ngumisi. "...perfectly."
