The following days training session was just as good. Maisie had scored some absolute worldies and all the coaches were pleased with her performance.
"Well done today," Marie said as they headed in.
They headed into the lunch hall and Liv, Samara and Maisie sat at their usual spot. They were by far the loudest people in the room and their laughs echoed off the wall.
It was then the part of the day that Maisie had been dreading. They had another schoolwork session and Maisie had another test.
She really didn't want to do it and as the rest of the team walked in, she refused to go. It wasn't like she was going to do the test anyway so why should she have to go into the room?
"Maisie we're not negotiating this. You need to do the test," Marie said.
"I don't want to."
"You have to," Mark told her.
"But why? It's not like I know anything anyway. I won't be able to do it so there's no point even trying," she said, her voice rising as she was unable to control it.
"There's no need to shout," Marie said calmly.
"Well I am going to shout if you make me do something I don't want to do!"
"Sometimes in life we have to do stuff we don't want to. I know you're angry but if you go in there and try your best, you will do absolutely fine."
"I won't. I'm not doing it. End of story," she said before she began to walk away.
"Maisie can you come back here please?"
She didn't reply and carried on storming off. Anger was pulsing in every part of her. Why was she so stupid?
The two adults watched her go.
"Should we go after her?" Mark asked.
"I think we should probably get her sister to do it. I don't know how we'd get her calm."
"Good plan."

Keira was sat in the relaxation room with everyone else when Sarina poked her head around the door.
"Keira do you have a minute?"
She got up and followed her out the room, wondering what this could be about. Her heart dropped when she saw Marie was with her. That meant it was something to do with her sister.
"Everything okay?" she asked, knowing it probably wasn't.
"I'm really sorry but I think we need your help with Maisie. She was meant to be doing some tests sent by her school but she refused to go in the room and ended up storming away. She isn't in a good frame of mind at all."
"Right okay. I'll talk to her. Do you know where she is?"
"She walked out towards the pitches but we don't know exactly."
"Okay I'll find her. I'm really sorry she kicked off."
"Don't worry about it. We know it's a challenge for her to control her temper."
With that Keira went back to the relaxation room to get Lucy. Once she'd explained, the pair set off.
It didn't take long for them to find her. She was sat in the stand that overlooked the training pitch and she was clearly furious.
"Hi mush," Lucy said as they approached.
"Oh fuck off," Maisie groaned.
"Hey we just want to help," Keira said.
