It was the day before the final and to distract themselves from the pre match nerves, Maisie and Erin were going on a date.
They'd spent loads of time together over the tournament but today they were doing something fancy and officially date like.
It was just after lunch when Maisie went and knocked on Erin's door. She was dressed up semi-fancily (meaning she was wearing cargo shorts rather than jogger like shorts) as they'd decided to make a thing of it.
Erin opened up the door to her room. She was wearing a cute floral dress with thin shoulder straps and she looked gorgeous.
"You look wonderful," Maisie said, putting an arm around her waist and kissing her on the lips.
"You're not too bad yourself," Erin said when they'd moved a part.
Now they'd had their greeting, they headed out the hotel and into town. They were going to do some shopping and even though Maisie found that incredibly boring, Erin liked it and besides the company made it fun.
They went into lots of different shops and Maisie had to touch everything she saw. She loved feeling all the different materials and seeing which one was the nicest.
They were in a clothes shop and Erin had spotted some stuff that she loved.
"I don't know if this stuff will fit me," she said as she looked at it.
"Try it on," Maisie told her.
"But then you'd have to wait."
"I don't mind waiting."
"You hate waiting," Erin said, knowing that her girlfriend struggled massively with just hanging about.
"I don't mind doing it for you. Go try it on."
They headed to the changing rooms and Erin disappeared off. Maisie stood patiently for 10 seconds before she saw the signs on the walls and began reading them.
The signs weren't very interesting but it gave her something to do. She soon got bored of that and wandered off out of the waiting area to look at some other stuff.
She was just in the middle of stroking a nice feeling t shirt when she heard her girlfriend's voice from back in the changing rooms.
"Mais?"
"Sorry," she said as she reappeared, "I'm here."
"What do you think?" Erin asked.
"You look wonderful," Maisie said.
"Thanks. Do they look like a good fit?"
"They fit perfectly."
"I think I'm going to get them."
Erin disappeared and changed back into her dress before they got into the queue to pay.
The pair yapped away and despite the queue being quite long, they didn't mind.
They were chatting away about all sorts and even though they spent most of their time together, there was always something knew to talk about.
"How have you never seen it?" Maisie asked in shock, "How have I never made you watch it? This is ridiculous. The Next Step was my childhood."
"We'll have to add it to our list of stuff to watch," Erin told her.
"We definitely will. I can't wait for you to see the episode where-," she began to say before she was cut off.
"Ah no spoilers!"
"Sorry. I'll keep quiet."
They got to the front of the line and Erin put her stuff down to be scanned.
