Jaypaw growled and stuffed leaves into a hole in the elders' den. Stupid [Y/A/N]. Stupid prophecy. Lionpaw jumped out of the way in time as Jaypaw kicked a ball of moss in his direction. "What was that for?" He yelped.

"Nothing," Jaypaw growled.

Lionpaw narrowed his eyes. "That's not 'nothing'."

A few heartbeats passed. "Can you kill someone for me?"

"What?!" Lionpaw sounded just like he had a moment ago when Jaypaw threw the moss ball at him. "Who and why?"

"[Y/A/N] because I'm a medicine cat and I can't kill," Jaypaw said simply.

He could practically feel Lionpaw's eye roll. "It's not her fault that you became a medicine cat and can't take a mate," Lionpaw reasoned. Jaypaw knew he was correct, but he needed something to get mad at.

"Oh, so you're siding with her now?" Jaypaw hissed. He was about to stalk off like an angry kit before Lionpaw grabbed his tail in his jaws.

"What?" Jaypaw growled irritably.

"Wait for Hollypaw to come back, then we can talk. If we have to, we'll kill [Y/A/N] for you. I promise, Jaypaw," Lionpaw meowed sincerely. Jaypaw hesitated for a moment longer, then nodded.

"Thanks," he sighed.
