His boyfriend's t-shirts, his lovers skinny jeans, his best friend's hair gel, those cheesy comedies you find at blockbuster, and Lovino's hateful brown eyes. Lovino and Antonio were in a toxic relationship. Lovino had a boyfriend that wasn't Antonio. Two can keep a secret, but three can't keep anything quiet. Lovino would run his hands along Antonio's body, he would trace things on his back and laugh when Antonio shuddered. Antonio would make Lovino blush and cry out, he could make Lovino do things Lovino had never imagined himself doing, they were both in it to see the other suffer, you can buy the stars but it won't change who you are. Antonio was the other woman.

Red faces after running, ugly v necks, someone's lipstick, running feet, and lowered voices. Lovino could have an affair (with who? He already had two men) but he knew that would be going too far. He kept his voice low, low and calm, he swore he'd change. Lovino wouldn't take this anymore, "You were nothing more than a warm mouth!" He'd hurl, the words might knock Antonio down, but he could retaliate with his fist. You can buy the stars but it won't change who you are. Antonio won't apologize, Lovino won't ask for it. They drink away the pain then become passionate with each other, Lovino will shape up and promise to dump his boyfriend (it never happens), Antonio promises to make up for the words but he forgets the next morning.

It's funny, for Lovino to realize he once loved Antonio, now they have no love only powerful loveless lust. Antonio will kiss Lovino but it won't mean anything. "Fuck this relationship! We aren't dating!" Lovino screams, "I need you!" Antonio lies, but it always makes Lovino stay. Warm kisses, brown eyes, hopeful looks, painful loss, it all comes together in the end. You can buy the stars but it won't change who you are.

Stuck in an affair, the affected ones draw away from their official lover. It doesn't make much sense to Lovino but after all, he was cheating. Antonio was his unofficial lover, his unofficial help, he needed Antonio but he couldn't let go of Alfred, but he didn't need Alfred the way he needed Antonio. "I've got a boyfriend anyway." Lovino will say to himself and Antonio will laugh, as if his boyfriend will affect this, this insane love.

It was true love but Lovino needed to let go of Alfred. They had sex, kissing while in Lovino's jeep, Antonio's hands will be all over Lovino, in his skinny jeans and they will fall to the floor, a heap of clothes and passion in the bedroom. Oh, how does the conversation always lead to sex? Always always always. Point blank, right between the eyes, they won't turn away from this, passion or not, wrong or right it always leads to sex. Laughing in the kitchen, kissing in the hall, touching in the bedroom, regret all alone. Antonio could leave the town, maybe take Lovino maybe leave him behind. He's got a boyfriend anyway.
