SUMMARY : The life of Edeline Stark is one haunted by the past and burdened by secrets. Soon, the mother wolf finds herself thrust into the center of war after the execution of her twin brother, Eddard Stark. Driven by loyalty, a desire to protect her family, and to avenge her twin brother, she joins her nephew's rebellion.

━ Edeline is fiercely devoted to her family. She's willing to do anything for those she loves. This stems from the trauma of losing so many loved ones. Unlike the typical noble lady, Edeline is comfortable with riding, hunting, and even sparring. She has a sharp mind and isn't afraid to speak her mind, even to those of higher rank. The deaths of Lyanna, Brandon, and her father have left deep scars. She trusts very few people outside her immediate family and is always on guard. Despite her guarded nature, Edeline possesses a deep well of empathy. For example, unlike Catelyn, she treats Jon Snow with kindness, sensing his isolation and the injustices he suffers.
━ She grew up in Winterfell, close to her siblings. Aside from her twin, Edeline was particularly close to Lyanna, sharing a bond of adventure and mischief.
━ Edeline is a skilled rider and hunter, proficient with a bow, a decent swordswoman, knowledgeable in Northern lore, and is a keen strategist and advisor.
━ She remained unmarried and took on responsibilities within Winterfell, helping Catelyn manage the household and raise the Stark children. Edeline became a confidante to Ned, offering counsel and support. Catelyn, while never fully understanding Edeline, respected her loyalty to Ned and the family.
━ The father of her twins is Howland Reed. During the rebellion, Edeline and Howland became close. He was a comforting presence in a time of terrible loss. Their relationship was brief but intense, a shared solace in a world of chaos. Their affair resulted in twins. Edeline kept their parentage a secret to protect both Howland Reed and her children. She doesn't speak of Howland often and does not have contact with him anymore.
━ The eldest twin is Eddrick Stark. He is 15 years old at the start of the series. Eddrick bears a striking resemblance to Howland Reed, with dark hair and intelligent eyes. He is quiet, observant, and fiercely loyal to his family. He is skilled with a bow and arrow and dreams of becoming a ranger.
━ The younger twin is Lyarra Stark II. She is 15 years old at the start of the series. She is named after Edeline's late mother and possesses a similar spirit to that of her late aunt, Lyanna. She is headstrong, independent, and skilled with a blade. Lyarra inherited the Stark features. She often clashes with her mother due to her recklessness, but she loves her family fiercely.
━ The true parentage of Eddrick and Lyarra is a closely guarded secret, known only to a very few trusted individuals (Ned, Benjen, Catelyn and Maester Luwin). The twins themselves do not know who their father is, although they never stop asking.
━ The reason why Eddrick and Lyarra are known by the name Stark and not Snow is because Ned legitimized them. He did extend the same courtesy to Jon Snow, however. Despite this, her children are still seen as bastards in the eyes of many.
━ Edeline is deeply conflicted about her feelings for Jaime Lannister. She despises him for his betrayal of his king and his family's actions against the Starks, but she cannot deny the growing attraction between them.
