SUMMARY : Born in the mortal realm, Ama Ekho lived a relatively normal life until the age of ten, when her latent demigod abilities began to manifest. Her mother, a mortal woman who had fallen in love with the sea god Poseidon, shielded Ama from the truth of her lineage for as long as possible.
When she was twelve, Ama began spending her summers at Camp Half-Blood, where she made friends and learned to hone her abilities. Life was good for a while. However, their peaceful existence was shattered when a monstrous creature, drawn by her growing power, attacked their home, resulting in her mother's death.
After the tragedy that had unexpectedly made her an orphan, Ama was forced to pack up her belongings and move to Gotham City, where her aunt lived. She adopted a solitary life in the shadows of the corrupt city, keeping a watchful eye for any signs of monster activity.
Her activities eventually caught the attention of Batman, who recognized the unique abilities she possessed. Initially wary of the Dark Knight, Ama eventually accepted his offer to join a Team of young superheroes he was putting together.
Now drawn into the world of superheroes and secret missions, the young demigod finds herself forming an unlikely bond with Robin.
ADDITIONAL NOTES : ━ Ama is the daughter of Poseidon, the Greek God of the Sea, and a mortal woman named Yuka Ekho. Yuka was a marine biologist working on a deep-sea research vessel when she met Poseidon. Their relationship was brief but passionate.
━ As for her personality, Ama is courageous and willing to take risks to protect others. She is fiercely devoted to her friends and family, willing to go to great lengths for them. Self-reliant and determined, preferring to handle things on her own. Ama is witty and sometimes snarky, using humor to deflect difficult emotions. She is deeply empathetic and caring, especially towards the vulnerable. Tends to keep her personal life and fears guarded, due to past experiences. Most of all, she has a hard time trusting new people due to betrayals in her past. Therefore, she will not immediately accept Batman's offer to join the Team, will be hesitant to befriend them once she does, and it will take a while until she develops feelings for Dick.
━ Ama spent her summers at Camp Half-Blood, learning how to wield a Celestial Bronze sword, control water, and understand the monster world. She is a skilled fighter and strategist.
━ As previously mentioned, when Ama was twelve, a monster attacked her childhood, resulting in her mother's death. Ama blames herself for not being strong enough to protect her mother. This tragedy fuels her desire to protect others and contributes to her reluctance to form close relationships.
━ Ama now lives with her maternal aunt (Yura) in Gotham City, attending a private school (the same one as Dick) to blend in. She keeps her demigod status a secret from everyone (aside from her aunt), and remains constantly alert and on the lookout for monsters.
━ Initially, Batman and other members of the Justice League would suspect her of being a meta-human using water-based powers, or possibly related to Aquaman (although Aquaman would confirm she isn't from Atlantis). After a few encounters, Ama would tell Batman the truth about her heritage, and this is how the Justice League finds out about Camp Half-Blood and demigods.
━ Ama brings a unique skill set to the Team, offering expertise in dealing with magical threats, knowledge of ancient lore, and powerful hydrokinetic abilities. Her combat skills and strategic thinking make her a valuable asset. While reluctant at first, she eventually comes to trust and rely on the Team as her new family, learning to open up and share her burdens.
━ Her powers and abilities include: • Hydrokinesis - Can control and manipulate water. • Enhanced Strength and Speed - Possesses superhuman strength and speed, especially when near water. • Breathing Underwater - Can breathe underwater for extended periods. • Communication with Sea Creatures - Can communicate with marine animals. • Swordfighting - Proficient in sword combat, trained at Camp Half-Blood. • Celestial Bronze Weapon - Wields a celestial bronze xiphos named Riptide's Kiss.

━ You may change Ama's face claim if you want. I chose Korra mainly for the water resources, however, if you have a better idea, please run it by me. Depending on the new face claim, you will more than likely have to change Ama, Yuka and Yura's names, though, seeing as they were chosen specifically for their connection to Inuit culture due to the current face claim.
