As opposed to what she promised, Faith never saw Sam on the weekend. She didn't even answer his texts. She watched as several textscame through, wanting to answer but not knowing how to.

How would she explain to him that she was leaving? She hated that something so exciting terrified her. One of Faith's most lethal traits was how she shut down when things got hard and she knew she needed to talk about this to someone, she just didn't know how.

As she sat in her bedroom, trying to put her feelings into something productive, a song, her phone rang. Reaching over to decline, she saw Brittany's name flash over the screen and took a moment to consider before remembering something.

She and Brittany had a pact to tell eachother everything and stay honest so Faith had to keep that promise. When she grabbed her phone, she swiped to answer.

"Hi Faye." Brittany said on the line, sounding sad.

"Britt, what's wrong?" Faith said, growing slightly concerned.

"I'm okay...I just have to tell you something. Can you come over?" She sniffled into the phone.

"Oh God, Britt please don't tell me you're actually pregnant this time! That means 3 out of 4 unholy trinity members have gone through teen pregnancy...we better tell Santana to go out and deal with a man so we can make it 4 out of 4. Dear God, we really are unholy..." Faith started rambling before being interrupted.

"I'm not pregnant, Faye. Though your concerns would be misplaced considering I was only with Sam recently so..." Brittany said, laughing slightly despite her somber mood.

"Touche." Faith grinned. "I'm on my way."

Once Faith walked into the familiar surroundings of Brittany's bedroom, she noticed the blonde girl pacing her room.

"Um, hey Britt. What's going on?" Faith asked, taking a seat on her bed and watching her panic.

"So, I know we promised to tell eachother, even when things are hard. I want to tell you, but...It's insane and I don't think I can just blurt it out like-" Faith knew she had to calm Brittany, so without thinking she blurted out what was on her mind.

"I got a recording deal and have to leave for New York in 2 weeks." Faith's eyes went wide at the reality of her situation.

"You...what?" Brittany asked, pausing her pacing.

"Well, the contract I agreed to with my label was to start recording after I finished high school. But Figgins told me Friday that some of my credits transferred and that I have to finish my classes this week then i'm no longer a high school student. And I'm sorry to pile this on. I know we agreed to do this together and I hate to leave you behind and Sam..." Faith paused, feeling tears hit her eyes. "Britt, Sam and I just got to a good place. I can't leave him. Last time one of us moved to a different state..."

Brittany's eyes started watering as well causing Faith to panic.

"Britt, I know. I'm so sorry. I wanna be happy about this...I just can't do more change." Faith added.

"I got into MIT." Brittany blurted aswell.

Faith's eyes went wide. But when Brittany kept speaking, she knew it was true.

"They offered me early admission. I'd be going after Spring Break too. I wanna take it Faith. Everyone has always called me stupid, and for once someone believes in my brain." She smiled softly.

"Brittany, I'm so proud of you. You deserve this. Truly. But...that means we are both leaving after regionals...what do we do?"

The question lingered in the air. School was again tomorrow, Faith and Brittany would have to face reality. But both of their strategies were gonna be different.
