"Well, Faith it's no surprise we are impressed by your talent. When we saw your video, we had many of our people eager to take you on." Sandra, the label manager for Big Machine spoke from across the table. "After looking at the few other songs you brought along with you, I think we may have the perfect team for you. We have the perfect producer, agent and manager. We will send you legal papers, feel free to take time and go through them but we would love time to have you signed right away."
"I understand, and I appreciate the interest in me and my music, but I'm still in high school. I need to at least finish that, I can't be some dropout." Faith pleaded, she was so close to her dream and she couldn't let school get in the way but she also needed to finish the year with her friends and Sam. She couldn't go to New York without them.
"That's no problem Ms. Hudson. We would love to sign you whenever you finish high school. That being said, please contact us immediately when that is, as your video is still trending and us announcing you as our artist off that buzz will allow your platform to grow before releasing any music." She smiled.
Faith let out a breath. She was determined to make her dreams come true. Now it was just time to enjoy her last months as a high school student and then she could do it. She could write and perform songs with Sam by her side.

It was set to be an amazing week, after Faith's meeting in New York she had her parents lawyer and themselves look over the contract and all looked good. Now all she had to do was finish high school then she could sign. That was a great start to her week but to make matters even better, Mercedes, Kurt and Mike were back in town to support the glee club.
Faith would be lying if she said she wasn't feeling nervous for Burt's appointment later this week, but she needed to support him, Kurt and her mom no matter the outcome.
As Faith sat with her legs draped over Sams waiting for Glee to start, she was telling him all about her quick meeting in New York.
"I just...I could see it. Me, there, writing music for people who wanna hear it. You're there with me." She beamed.
"Sounds like the perfect life." He smiled and pecked her lips before looking to the front where Mr. Schue wrote 'Wonder-ful' on the board.
"All right, guys, I just got some wonderful news from Rachel. She's got a second callback for Funny Girl." He announced.
Faith led the loudest while everyone cheered for one of their own.
"And that's not our only good news." He continued. "Brittany is at M.I.T touring the campus because she's got an early acceptance."
"That can't be true." Kitty smiled, everyone's face matching her comment.
"And I re-proposed to Emma. She reaccepted, and we're getting married after regionals." Mr. Schue smiled.
Sam raised his hand to add to the celebration, "Faith got offered a record contract in New York after graduation."
Turning red, Faith hid her face in her hands while everyone cheered for her. Marley even hugged her tight.
"I've got good news, too." Tina spoke up. "I'm wait-listed at the Columbus College of Veterinary Medicine. It's a fallback if I don't pursue acting."
"Bless her heart." Unique spoke.
"Tina, Faith, that's not just good news. It's wonderful, and that's what this week is all about." Mr. Schue continued. "We're taking a lesson from one of the greatest musical artists of all time. Despite facing a ton of obstacles, he's a living example of embracing...n-n-no, celebrating...joy and optimism, and he's collected 25 Grammys along the way. So don't you worry 'bout a thing because whether you're ebony or ivory, you are the sunshine of my life. And next week at regionals we will be jammin' on higher ground."
