It had been a week since the wedding, glee club had been postponed so Mr. Schue could 'Nurse his broken heart'.
Faith was sitting and waiting to see if he was gonna show up this week but until then, she was finally having her updates with Blaine.
"So...you slept with him...did you talk about what that means?" Faith asked, trying to get more info about the night Kurt and Blaine spent together.
The more Faith heard about the weddings and the hookups that went with it, the less guilty she felt about sex with Santana.
"I tried, he just avoided it. It's progress. 3 months ago he wouldn't even pick up the phone for me. But less about me, apparently you had some fun too? With Santana?!" Blaine whisper-yelled.
"Shhh. I still haven't told...Sam. Which is stupid because I don't owe him anything, but I feel like we need a conversation. I just..don't know how to approach it. But yeah, I slept with Santana." She smiled sheepishly.
"So? How was it?" Blaine whispered.
"A one time thing...well three time thing but we left it at that night. I'm straight and we are best friends. But it was good. Helped for clarity. Definitely helps with jealousy to sleep with your ex's ex and your ex's new girlfriend's ex." Faith smirked.
"I feel like that sentence shouldn't make sense but because it's glee it does. But experimenting is good. I'm glad you got that clarity. I mean, you remember when I made out with and went on a date with Rachel my Sophomore year?" he pointed out.
"Oh who could forget. I'll remind you that till the day you die."
"Everyone loves movies." Mr. Schue's voice interrupted the conversation as he looked towards the glee club, slightly in better spirits. "They don't just tell stories, they transport us to other worlds. They are inspirational. They provide comfort, and they help us escape from our day-to-day anxieties."
"Like getting left at the altar?" Kitty interrupted.
Faith responded by jabbing Kitty lightly with her elbow.
"Too soon." Ryder muttered.
"Exactly." Mr. Schue shocked everyone by confirming. "Or in your guys' case, studying for exams or worrying about regionals. In any case, for this week's assignment, I want you to pick your favorite songs from your favorite movies."
"Unique knows all there is to know about The Crying Game." Unique said enthusiastically.
"You don't get dibs on Les Mis just because you are the poster." Kitty jabbed again.
"Finally I can do my Nicolas Cage impression." Sam said, breaking into his Nicholas Cage impression. "Oh, not the bees! No! The bees! No!"
"That is the worst Nicolas Cage impression I've ever seen." Kitty added.
"Hey, in his defense, it's one of his better impressions." Faith teased.
"Okay, it's not that simple, guys." Mr. Schue continued, "This is a group competition, boys against girls and we are doing mash-ups. Now remember, movies are visual. So it's not just about the singing, it's about performance, it's about theatricality, it's about the language of cinema."
"And as I move into production on my first micro-budget feature..." Artie announced, causing everyone to clap. "I'm happy to offer starring roles to whichever team wins. No trailers, no per diem."
"Great! Okay. Well, everyone split up and start working on your song choices." Mr. Schue told the club who had already divided themselves.
The first suggestion in the girls group came from Sugar, "We should do the artist so we don't have to sing."
