Faith was excited as regionals were coming up this week and they were gonna take the week to prep. Faith was sitting with Rachel and Sam in Glee, talking to Rachel about their excitement for the upcoming competition.

"Guys, I've got some bad news. You know how we decided on "Sing" by My Chemical Romance for Regionals. Well, I hold in my hand a cease and desist letter from the band. We can't do it."

Everyone started panicking, it was the perfect song and anthem so now they had to start from scratch.

"How much do you wanna bet Coach Sylvester had something to do with this?" Mercedes was right, Coach Sue always had something to prove.

"One step ahead of you. It was her."

"So like...what now? We are like less than 5 days from competition?" Faith seemed to be more panicked than most, especially after the last Regionals where they lost.

"I think...we should write original songs for Regionals." Rachel might've been on to something, clearly last time someone elses words didn't work for The New Directions.

"All those in favor of voting Rachel down a second time?"

Before anyone raised their hands, Quinn interrupted.

"No, I think Rachel's right. This team works best when we push ourselves and do something a little different."

Faith was surprised out of all people, Quinn was who was backing Rachel.

"Well, that's true but if all the other teams are doing amazing songs. We're not gonna be so good."

"You're right, we're not gonna be as good. We're gonna be better. We won't be using other peoples' words or music. It'll be our own. Our own heart, soul, not just our voices. We have a really talented songwriter in our midst. Rachel? I was thinking maybe you and I could write a song together." Oh boy this has a Quinn scheme written all over it.

"I'm with Quinn and Rachel. I mean, if these two can agree on something it's probably an idea worth considering." Twin Telepathy kicking in apparently.

"W-wait, wait. So, suddenly you two are writing the music for Regionals? No way. I think that everyone should get a chance to write a song."

Everyone agreed, the new plan was to write songs, and Faith had an idea up her sleeve for a possibility.

As Santana and Faith were walking to their lockers, Faith wanted an update about everything with Brittany and her as they seemed to be not talking in Glee Club.

"What happened after Landslide San?"

"Honestly...I'm in love with Brittany and want to be together..." Faith was confused about what that had to do with them not talking. "But she wants to be with Artie so I'm done talking."

Santana finished up her story as they made it to their lockers, Santana was putting in her combination when Brittany came up to them.

"Hey. Can I ask you a question? We used to be really close and I really miss being your friend." Faith knew this had nothing to do with her, so she looked up at the wall, admiring the tiles. "Did I do something wrong?''

''I don't know, did you? All I know is you blew me off...to be with Stubbles McCripple Pants. It's fine. It's your loss...cause now I get the chance to write an awesome heterosexual song about Sam, that we're gonna sing at Regionals.''
