Wally P.O.V.
I kept looking for Artey, but she was nowhere to be found. So I asked Dinah, and she said she just left for Jay's house, and hasn't been home for a while. She gave me the address and I got there as fast as I could.
Artemis P.O.V.
How did Wally find me here? "I'm okay" I smiled and answered his question. I sat up. Jay soon got up after I did. He came rushing for Wally (who was actually dressed as Kid Flash, but to me, no matter how many different things I call him, he will always be Wally).
Jay pushed Wally out of the way and got to me first. He took a pocket knife and held it to my throat. "One more step, and I'll cut her."
Wally had no problem with this. He had superspeed for crying out loud. He would save me. Jay held up my chin even higher. He pressed the knife down on my skin. It was cold, so I flinched, giving him an opportunity to push the knife down farther into my skin. By now, he was lightly cutting my neck.
Wally P.O.V.
I took another step back. If he got any deeper into her skin, she'd bleed out. Artemis gave me a look. A look I've never seen her have before. It was a look that said, 'help-me-i-really-need-it-but-i-wont-ask'. She looked scared for once...
The step I took back would give me a chance to move in superspeed before he noticed. I zoomed off, it looked like slow motion, so I pulled the knife away for him and dropped it on the floor. My next move was to get Artey. But how?
Jay noticed I took his knife, so he pulled Artemis off the bed. He put his right arm around her waist and his other around he neck. "That was a bad idea." Jay said as he went towards the window. "We're 3 stories up, a fall that could kill a person." You might have superspeed, but you won't be able to catch her. Now.. Take off your mask." What? No way I'm taking off my mask. He quickly let go of Artey, and put something on my feet. Damnit. I can't go through things like Barry can.
Well, there is one more option. My big mouth. "Would you really throw you girlfriend out a window? I mean look at her, she is beautiful. Can't you see it? The way her soft grey eyes sparkle, the way her hair drips down in her face."
"Oh, you mean this piece of worthless trash. She is just a person I keep around. She is here to kiss me, and make me food, whenever I want it. I don't love her. She's hideous. All she does is cry and cry and cry. She never really knows how I feel. Never. I am tired of holding her down every time I want to have sex with her. She needs to learn, one way or another, she is forever mine." He gripped tighter on he neck, making it so she couldn't breathe good, or enough. She used her hands to try and pry him off of her.
"She is not property. You need to treat her right. Hold the door open for her. Ask if she wants to have sex, not just force her to do it. And technically, it would be raping her."
"No, shut up. Artemis here, is mine." He forced her to kiss him. He let go of her, and turned her around and pushed her against him. He then slammed her against his bed frame, hard. He took a pair of, not just any, police handcuffs and cuffed her to his bed. He took the key and he threw it out the window. "My father is a police man. He gave them to me. And for you, I also got this from my father." He grabbed a pistol and shot me. Right in my shoulder.
Artemis screamed. And tried to rush over to me, forgetting she was cuffed to Jay's bedframe.

A/N: So sorry for the short chapter! I am writing more, I promise. But I wanted to leave this with a sort of cliffhanger.
