Halfway To Her Heart

Wally P.O.V.

"Yeah, sure." Artemis smiled through her tears. I gave a slight smile back, as I picked her up. I ran as fast as I could and went straight to the edge of the sea. Stopping as water got into my shoes.

"Do you trust me?" I smirked, and even before she could blink, I was running on the water.

"What are you doing?!" She yelled at me.

"Just trust me." I smiled, looking up, over the blue waves, splashing up. As the sun started to come up. There was a light horizon, with golden colors. Yellows and reds, and blue, where the sunlight was touching the dark sky. ((A/N: Someone had to tell me that, so if it is not what it looks like sorry... I'm colorblind.))

I took her to an island, I found on the plane ride to Hawaii. Yet, no one ever notices when I'm gone. On the island, I sat her down. It was a small island. I don't think anyone has been on the island for a while. It did seem to have had life on it once, but now there was nothing. Well, there was a small log cabin in the center of it. That was where I was gonna take Artey, but I was gonna let her walk. She looked like she was gonna barf.

We finally got rid of Jay, hopefully forever. And the only place I wanted to be was alone with Artemis. "Follow me. I have something I want you to see.

I started to walk, a smile plastered to my face.

"One, how do you not get sick from running so fast? And 2, why are you smiling like that?" Artemis asked, laughing.

"I've been running since I was like 10, and I just want you to see what I am going to show you so bad." I smiles, and she smiled back.

We soon arrived at the little cabin. Artemis gasped, "It is so pretty!" She walked around. The inside had a fireplace, with a a newly placed rug on the cold hardwood floor. The wooden walls were exposed to show inside. I used my superspeed to start a fire wen I saw Artemis shiver. There was no modern machines to keep it warm. This cabin must have been really old, but keep in great condition. "Wally! This is amazing, I love it!"

"That's good." I smiled at her.

Artemis P.O.V.

Wally must have put dome effort into finding this place. But, it was amazing. I sat on the rug, by the fire to warm up. Wally brought over a blanket, and wrapped it around my shoulders.
