Saturday, 28th of September

That evening after convincing the museum to come pick up Bella, they gaped and praised at how wonderfully detailed it was and offered me 20k for it.

I was willing to take nearly nothing for it, Bella was worthless to me, but hey I'll take free money.

I took the head with me and put it in my own attic. I wasn't sure what to do with it, perhaps give it to Camp Half Blood and let them store it.

Or dispose of it.

Other than being really dangerous to have, it's also very powerful to wield.

If a museum offers me 20 thousand for a statue made in one second..

Imagine the wealth someone could gain from that?

I had briefly explained to Liz what happened (excluding the statue thing)
And we got back to work doing normal.. book storish things.

"So uh.. normal life now, huh." Liz said in a bored tone.

"Yup..." I laughed. I sighed.

It felt so wrong to use Medusas head on Bella.. but it felt so good to rid the world of someone truly awful.

"Ugh. I'm tired." I lowered my head to the counter.

"I bet. You had an eventful day." Liz shrugged, putting a book in a box and taping it.

"Ugh no kidding. Enough stress to last a year."

The front doors overhead bells jingled as Jason finally walked through.

"Hey. Sorry I'm late." He excused.

I perked up. "Jason!"

"Hey sweetheart." He grinned.

I flushed. Woah where'd that come from?

"hi.." I responded, accidentally sounding shy.

Jason seemed to flush and cleared his throat. "Uh, so I left last night. Sorry about that.."

Liz perked up and leaned forward over the counter into my line of sight.

"Ohhhhh...?" She raised her eyebrows repeatedly at me suggestively.

I smacked her arm and glared.

"So where did you go in the middle of the night?" I raised my own eyebrow and crossed my arms.

"I had a family emergency.." he shrugged. "My brother did something stupid and I needed to go pull him out of it."

I hummed. I could see straight through that lie. It was in the way he didn't look at my eyes. He was looking at my lips instead.

I decided to let it go. He would tell me the truth someday.. I hope.

"Well you missed all the drama.." I sighed, turning back to the counter and lowering my head again.
