I think it's a battle

Monday, 7th of October

"Red hood? What are you doing here?"  I exclaimed, readjusting my grip on my very large water jug.

He shoved his gun into its holster, and he took my shoulders in his hands.

"No- what are you doing here Percy?! This place is dangerous! Controlled by the joker!" He dragged me down the hall and hid me in a room.

"I was uh.. kidnapped?" I smiled sheepishly.

"What?!" He took my jug from me and put it on the ground, checking my body for injuries.

"Hey- I'm fine, I'm okay!"

He didn't listen, also taking riptide from my hands and laying it by the jug.

He took my hands and looked at my wrists- which, yeah okay guilty, I have some raw rope burn marks. BUT THAT WAS IT, CHILL.

"Did they hurt you?"

I sighed. "No.. I escaped. I'm okay."

He hesitated for a moment longer before sighing and letting go.

"Im-" Red Hood was cut off by alarms going off in the hallways.

"Haha.. uh gotta run." I moved to pick up my sword and water, but Red stopped me.

"Hey- what exactly is your plan?"

I shrug. "Well.. I can't do this alone. I need to get out of here and find backup.."

"Are you insane? you want to come back?! The Joker is here!"

"I don't want to come back, Red Hood, I have to. I can't keep running from something that hunts me." I sighed, adjusting my grip on riptide.

"Percy, what is going on, why- who is hunting you?" His voice modulator broke slightly, trying to cope with his range of emotions.

"Red Hood.. my life.. it's.."

The sound of distant doors slamming open as each room was being searched thoroughly echoed through the room.

I hesitated. But the gods....

"Dammit Percy tell me!"

"I'm-" the door to the room we were hiding in slammed open and Red Hood pulled me behind him as he cocked his gun, not hesitating to shoot a precise bullet through the heart of the goon that burst through.

He fired another shot at the next goon, and the one after that, and the one after that, until the next thing that came through the door didn't react to a bullet, as it flew right through and lodged into the door behind it.

I stepped forward to Red Hoods dismay, stepping out of his arms length so he couldn't pull me back again.

He couldn't win against this.

"Perseus Jackson.." Kelli grinned, "finally, we meet again."

"You ditched the school cheerleading?" I noted her outfit change.
