Yipee battle time
=
Monday, 7th of October

In seconds we were engaged in battle, we were so obviously outnumbered, but what other choice did we have?

At least most of these super people had some sort of powers to help balance the fight.

Aaaaand the jokers goons have guns.

Schist- this isn't a sword fight.

Although with the aided help from the long range skills, aka bows, super powered lasers, whatever the heck Batman was throwing, and Red Hoods gun, we were able to hold them off for a while.

I made use of my portable water bottle, -coughs- stolen water cooler- and shot tiny ice bullets through the hearts of monsters and mortals alike. Swords weren't quite useful yet, especially when the opponents had guns.

Don't they say don't bring a sword to a gun fight? Or.. something? Knife to a sword fight? Knife to a gun fight?

Never mind.

Oh yeah- and we weren't even dealing with the Joker or Kampê yet..

Sobs

I stabbed a monster as it got close enough to me, exploding into dust as my sword sliced through it efficiently.

I diverted from the group, heading for a cluster of monsters, tearing through their ranks striking down monsters and knocking out mortals.

Once I make it to the unsuspecting monsters I swiftly infiltrate their group, slicing them dead in one wide circular slash.

Piles of monsters made a bee-line for me, the mortals a pity prize in comparison to the idea of having the final blow on someone like me, a demigod feared and hated amongst the monsters of Tartarus.

Yeah they all wanted a bite.

"Woah- take a number guys, it's easier to meet and greet you all personally instead of this flash mob!"

The nearest monsters growled- or groaned in frustration, (I'm just that funny) but they didn't stop to get in line.

"Okay.. so maybe not a meet and greet line, but we can work with this!"

They weren't very nice and orderly, they preferred to dog pile, but I was able to keep them at bay so that they didn't get to jump.

Believe it or not, I actually do not enjoy being jumped on... so we will try to avoid that..

The water was very very useful, I hadn't realized how much I relied on it while fighting in the past until I made it to Gotham, were all the water- including the moisture in the air- was contaminated and unpure.

Sure I could make it do what I wanted, limitedly. But as you're aware, it wasn't very pliant to my will.

I don't know why I didn't think about carrying around bottles full of water from the sink... but I definitely will be from now on.

We kept fighting, I was able to keep an eye on the others, some holding their own pretty well.

Diana was crushing it. Literally. She had no problems dealing with Greek and mortal monsters alike, and Arthur - you know, my.. dads.. little water city ruler king person? Atlantis?
