The Wayne Manor
=
Saturday, 5th of October

"Woah.." Liz breathed out, her mouth hanging.

"Yeah." I agreed.

The manor was massive and glorious, something Annabeth would drool over like how I drool over blue food.

Compared to Olympus and other designs by Annabeth, the Wayne manor didn't even come close.

But I could appreciate a good design here and there, I mean Annabeth would love it regardless of how much better she could design it.

"You guys live here?" Liz exclaimed in amazement.

She had her arm threaded through Tim's hooked one, and unlike them, I found my fingers linked with Jason's.

"Yeah." Jason said simply. "Well Tim does, I'm not here all the time."

"That is literally so cool. Whats it like? Do you guys get lost all the time?" Liz asks curiously.

"I used to.." Tim chuckled as he led Liz into the manor, Jason and I following shortly behind.

The inside of the manor did not disappoint, the architecture never ending, from the ornate doorways to the high vaulted ceilings and sculpted pillars and even murals on the ceiling.

The further we went into the home it got more modern, the architecture remained but it looked more cozy, warm lights and comfy leather couches and fireplaces in every room.

"We never let the guests in this way.." Jason told me. "There's an entrance to the ballroom that everyone goes to."

I hum in understanding. "You don't want a bunch of strangers trampling in your home."

"That.. and it just feels too intimate, like you have to walk through where we live every day, see into our lives and walk past several rooms just to get into the ballroom." He shrugged.

"Oh, I get it. Plus not everyone is honest, if they have access to your home they could slip away at any moment and snoop, perhaps even steal something."  I nodded in understanding.

"Yes exactly. Everything here is worth more than the food table itself.. which we do not slack on."

My eyes widened. "Food?"

Jason grinned. "Food."

"Yesss..."

We stopped in their family room, a great tall room with comfy couches and a tv on a wall above the brick fireplace.

There were family photos on one of the walls, showing just how massive the family was.

"Alright, so it doesn't start for another hour.." Tim said as we all gathered.

"We can give the ladies a tour... run them down on Gala etiquette..."

Jason snorted at the etiquette part.

"Or..." Tim said glaring at Jason for interrupting, "we can just sit here.."

"If we sit here we'd start a family reunion." Jason groaned.
