Author's note:

Hi! If you're reading this, you probably either recently added this book of one-shots to your library ... or you're just now realizing that you completely forgot about this book you used to read like ... nine years ago. So, I'll get to the point, but there will be another author's note at the bottom with a little life update and check-in; I'd love to hear what you're up to in life these days!

Over three years ago, I finished writing part one of a fan-fiction set during TFATWS, and have still been writing part two, which takes place after the final episode. I started writing this story in 2021 before seeking out mental health help in 2022. I'm sure many of you have struggles of your own and know how depression can make even the things you love become less enjoyable.

I fell off of writing for long chunks of time, but each time I came back to this story, currently untitled, it gave me some of my spark back. And my long-time friend, primuskat, has been encouraging of every idea I've shared with her over the years and inspires me to be a better writer every day. So much of my love for writing in the Marvel universe started with the Recollection series she began when we were in our mid-teens.

So, here I am—on a bit of a whim—hoping that you may read the first few chapters of this story below. I would love to hear what you think, and if anyone out there would be interested in reading more if I were to go ahead and publish part one. I do believe my writing has matured and strengthened since I started this one-shot series about a decade ago. Anyways, I talk way too much when I'm anxious, so I'll end this here lol.
