Breakup Song

I was on the set of Ellen with Shawn, well..I stayed backstage and watched the interview from a TV backstage.

He was going to sing a song about our break up called Aftertaste. I was really sad when we broke up because I really loved Shawn. He dosent even know I'm here.

He strummed his guitar and looked out to the crowd and smiled. He started to song the lyrics to the song and I looked down at the ground I wanted to cry but I just held it in.

"Are you ready to go on?" A man that works here asked me.

I looked up and nodded.

"After he gets finished with the song then Ellen will give some type of cue then you'll go out" he smiled and nodded.

I nodded and smiled back, knowing I was really sad about him singing that song about me.

"Okay so Shawn, we have a surprise for you buddy" Ellen smiled.

"Y'all do?" He furrowed his eyebrows in counfusion and then laughed.

"Yep, bring her out" Ellen said pointing to the backstage area.

I walked out of the backstage area and out into the chair next to Shawn. He looked at me with a confused look and then looked at Ellen.

"Paris, what are you doing here" Shawn asked.

"Well....I came to see you of course and whenever I heard you were performing the song y-you wrote about m-me I had to come watch" I said wiping away a tear that was falling down my face.

"I'm glad your here to support me because there is something I want to tell you" he said making eye contact with me.

"What's that??" I asked.

Ellen sat there smiling sad she look like she had tears in her eyes.

"I really want us to be back together I miss the relationship we had and how strong it was...I don't know what I was thinking when I broke up with you, Paris, you meant sooo much to me and I figured out that I can't be with no one else but you" He said grabbing my hand and kissing it.

"I do to Shawn, I really missed you...I didn't even get out of the house ever since the breakup and I was just so sad and hurt, I really want us to be back together too, I miss you so much" I said starting to cry.

"Oh my you're making me cry that's soo cute and sweet" Ellen said looking out to the crowd and laughing and smiling.

He stood up and he had his arms wide open for me to either jump in them or to go hug him.

I went up to him and hugged him tightly not wanting to let him go anymore. I really missed everything about Shawn. His voice, his angelic voice when he sings, his kisses, his hugs, and his cuddles.

"I love you Paris" he said.

"I-I love you too Shawn" I said crying into his chest. "Just don't leave me again I don't know what I would do if you did leave me again."

"I won't babygirl, I promise" he said kissing my head.

Ellen's eyes were filled with tears and she was smiling at us two. I'm really glad that I came here other than that I wouldn't have my Shawny back.
